Gyro in and of himself is fine(after the rocket barrage nerf to compensate for the cast point buff), the issue is that he is one of the few true hard carries that can easily come back from a really shitty start because of 5 man pressure from the enemy, which is the current meta.
Basically we have a meta which discourages most hard carry picks(its basically gyro who can come back and antimage who can farm safely even under pressure, and PL to a lesser degree).
Any other hard carry pick is troublesome if your opponent plays in the current style, so the problem is with the viability of the other carries, not Gyro being completely OP.

Nice game there from H6, cool strat that ran into something of a hard draft. They're playing much better than I would've expected though. Empire though...was hoping this would be the year they shake their reputation for crumbling under TI hype. They can turn it around I'm sure but it's off to a bad start.

Not a fan of OD but whatever, all casters are annoying.
Gyro might need a small nerf but right now he is to carries right now what QOP is to mid.
He is fun to watch though.. I'll take him in every game over Cyka.

I hate when he starts talking really fast. I pretty much dislike all hype casters though.
You know I'm actually really sad that Earth spirit never got fixed enough to make it into captains mode in time for Ti5. I really wanted to see a draft based around having all three of the spirits. I know I've seen teams run storm and ember together and it's always amusing to watch the opposing team try to lock down both of them in a fight at the same time.
Btw have I missed March wrecking face with Warlock yet? I'm a bit behind on mvp's games and i have been hoping for some sweet Warlock action out of them.

Ahh Jungle CM, this is my go to pub strat when I am on a losing streak.
People never are ready for the level 4 CM smoke ganks.

Uploading matches that take forever to be uploaded by Valve is another story. Valve need to step up the upload speed.
