One thing that bothered me was Warren beating up Nathan in Episode 4. After knowing Nathan was about to show up, I should have been able to rewind and pull Chloe into the bathroom, or get out of there before Nathan showed up. By that time in the story, I was super careful, I left no trace of being in Nathan's room (other than the missing phone). I undid moving the couch, undid turning on the computer, and undid breaking the door open (even undid unlocking the door from the inside). I shoulda had the option of getting out of there with Nathan never knowing anybody was there.
I mean I don't know about going that far, but I was definitely feeling a little jilted going to so much effort to leave Nathan's room untouched and then he just walks in being like "WHAT THE FUCK". He's a paranoid idiot and by all rights he can't possibly know you got into his room, but since you've been on his case the whole game, his unstable mind isn't going to let him not assume you were there to snoop around his stuff, unfortunately.
what i hated most was them standing in the hallway instead of leaving and going over the evidence back at chloe's place

The game has been excellent so far but I'm genuinely worried something stupid like spirit animals or Nathan's dad is a time traveller is going to happen. Basically I'm worried they'll David Cage it, which they haven't yet so the worry is a bit misplaced, but still. Please don't fuck it up now, you're so close Don't Nod!
The importance of Rachel and her just being found buried seems too simple, I feel like either the body isn't her, or it's a different version of her and she is still alive in another timeline. The game has been pushing all kinds of parallels between her and Max and I honestly feel like she is tied directly to Max somehow.
I was originally thinking back when we only had 2 episodes out, that the game would wind up circling around and Max would be the reason she disappeared months before the story began, as a means of saving her, or she had powers like Max and her extreme popularity and reverence by all came from her usage of those powers (Like Max) Either way there is still a whole lot more to Rachel and I don't feel like we've seen the last of her.
The dual moon thing really does seem almost as if we have two timelines overlapping or colliding or something, which makes me think something or someone within the story doesn't belong in our timeline and it's the cause of this crazy weather nonsense, which falls into the various thoughts about Rachel mentioned earlier in my post.
EDIT: Random but the photo of a young Joyce in the alternate timeline did suspiciously remind me of Rachel Amber (And William looking like Warren), which is kind of amusing.

Wow, what a strong episode! So many special moments, from active euthanasia, to accidentally killing Frank+his dog, as well as that creepy Dark Room (and finding Rachel's corpse). Very strong themes in a videogame, indeed.
Also, the pool party was pretty nice. Some of the dance animations lasted for more than a minute before looping. Oh, and these two guys were hilarious:
And that ending! I did suspect Jefferson (or whoever he is) before, which made me choose him in the end of episode 2, but still, it's quite a chock. The ending was very tense ending; I repeatedly was trying to rewind time to prevent the shooting.
I am looking forward to playing how the final episode. This game is awesome! It's way ahead of the likes of Telltale and Quantic Dream. I really hope the game sells well enough for a second season.

So I'm still unsure if we actually found Rachel or possibly Nathan in the junkyard, The last time we saw Nathan was after the fight and obviously Jefferson has Nathan's phone. It looks like a jacket Nathan would of worn or possibly a body bag?

Well, a couple things bother me about it being either of them, but I don't have enough knowledge to be sure. Would Rachel still smell that bad after months? And she wasn't that deep, so when Chloe went to the junk yard after she vanished, the stench of death shoulda been noticeable.
And if it was Nathan, the ground woulda looked more disturbed when they got to the junk yard. Plus he wouldn't have started noticeably decomposing.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

I imagine we'll ultimately get a usual time travel ending in which Max somehow prevents the coming calamity and rewinds back to before any of these events happened, taking herself out of the equation (either not going to Blackwell, or worse) to prevent it from all happening again, but I hope it's something more interesting than that.
Laughed at "Dr. Jacoby." They certainly wear their Twin Peaks love on their sleeve.

Uh, what else was he supposed to be doing? Dancing with the students? He just showed up to make the announcement then left. Seemed completely normal to me

I just mean that script-wise the character showing up at the moment he did (as our heroes are heading towards the door and talking about getting the person they believe to be the bad guy) made him suddenly very suspicious, which was almost certainly intentional on the writers' part.
Everyone who wasn't suspicious of Jefferson got played like a Fiddle. Me included.
It's funny that the first lines from him say 'too easy and too obvious' as it's sort of mocking you in reality. Either people aren't going to pickup on it (the majority of people) or they're going along with what he said that's it'd be too obvious to be him.

The thing I appreciate about LiS more than most other episodic games is that it really feels like they actually had this all figured out ahead of time.
Isn't it pretty much confirmed? Nathan listening to whale, the blue jay in chloe's house, Max's deer, and the owl that shows up where Mr. Jefferson's has done shady things.

I forgot to go back and save her in episode 3. I wonder if something special happens for saving her in every episode or if its just a running joke to keep saving her from getting hit all the time

It's not like that wasn't apparent from Episode 1 with how much exploration players could do and how much they could interact with. It feels a lot more like a game than what Telltale puts out.
Yeah, especially after season one of TWD Telltale almost completely cut out all the gameplay sections. It's all dialogue and QTEs.

Damn. I would be kind of shocked if this isn't at least partially right. I've been expecting an ending like that but I hadn't realized just how much evidence there is for it.
Alyssa is going to pay us back for saving her and bust into the Dark Room with a gatling gun and it will be glorious.
They way the extremely corny dialogue was with some of the students at the party makes me think we won't be seeing them anymore. They felt like goodbye segments given Max was prone to gushing all over them and how they were amazing and blah blah, even though some of them barely had any distinguishing features.

I thought the exact same thing. But at the same time, I thought "if I knew one of my friends could be murdered at any time, I'd tell them how much they meant to me". And the whole 'end of the world' thing.
Finally I found somebody else that sees this.
I actually didn't get the money but I didn't try to shoot him either so one good one bad for me. I was simply careful not to mention the dog's name while praising him for rescuing the fighting dogs and I put the focus on how Rachel cared about him and gave her the photo when Rachel comes up. I only had to rewind once because the dog bit Chloe lol
Both my woman and I in our respective playthroughs of the game were really suspicious of Jefferson for a good portion of the game, I remember one scene overhearing him on a phonecall sounding really pressured.
Honestly I knew he had to definitely be involved but I felt like that if he was, then he was a pawn, a school teacher who had/has made mistakes and was being blackmailed for it by some shadowy figure. Basically I figured he had done some questionable things with Rachel or another student, but not in the context of kidnapping or anything creepy like that.
So I guess good work LiS for making him suspicious but then tricking me by making him not suspicious enough to seem threatening, so you assume he's probably another "victim".
This was already apparent after the hospital Kate has been at wasn't blown up or something. That choice alone has been handled with way more thought than anything I've seen in their games.

Not really. You get one scene with her and some text messages. It was handled exactly like a Telltale game, where it doesn't matter much, is put out of the way for the most part, and just gets you a bit of character stuff.
Telltale way would not give you an extra environment and would kill of Kate in ep 4
