I wonder if that's Quantum Break's box art. I approve if it is.

i wonder if the XB1 Events app will actually work this time. last time Youtube actually worked and was much better. Not sure which will be the best to watch it on.

do you think this will be a strictly xbone conference or are they gonna talk about possible pc ports too?

Rest assured that titles like Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound will be front and center at gamescom along with new game reveals for both Xbox One and Windows 10.

It's not impossible some Windows 10 stuff will be announced, but I don't think you should expect Xbox exclusives, mostly features.

If console is accessible then Xbox App usually have a great quality and no lag. Other wise YT. I have not had good experience with Twitch or Xbox.com.

Do we know how long the conference will be?

Last year it was 1.5hr. I assume same this time around because they have much more content to show.

Very excited for the conference. Great day to be able to pickup Rare Replay and have a conference with some games I am very excited about.

would not risk interruption by using that trash of an app, youtube all the way

I thought so too

The problem is last time for E3 i had a blank screen until the start of the conference and nothing showed up. Youtube had a countdown, pre-show and announcers. They did a MUCH better job. If they do the same thing with gamescom then that would be great.

Ill be home in an hour as the conference will be on at my time 6pm - so i guess ill see how both hold up and if there are any preshow things.

Am I the only one who thought that the previous Quantum Break gameplay shown kinda sucked and looked boring?

I think you alone on that bro, gameplay looks superb. And also looked great visually. And got unique style. Not sure what part of that was boring. If anything it left us with asking for more.

Since I'm not all that into Playstation's line up so far this gen, I don't really follow them too closely. With that said, I just right now realized that they aren't having a presser this year at Gamescom. So I guess the spotlight is even brighter on MS but I'm sure all of you have known that for probably months now.

5am here in California, ready.

The second half of the extended QB 16min demo was amazing!

I thought it was ok, certainly unique enough but I didn't feel like "I want to play that !".
Among all the games that are expected to appear today, QB is the one I'm the least likely to buy. I can see the appeal for other people though, so it's fine.

The gameplay is what sold me on the game. It looks fantastic. Seeing that gameplay is what prompted me to get the system when it went on sale during the holidays, and now the XB1 has practically become my primary system due to having much better download speeds and MS actually giving a shit about updating the UI.

I am predicting a February release for Quantom Break. I feel like MS is going to try and fill out the year with new releases more in order to maintain momentum. I also wouldn't be surprised to see an XB1 port of the PC version of Alan Wake for like $20.
