Length wise....

The E3 2013 Trailer was 3:38
TGS 2014 Trailer - 2:35
Jump Festa 2014 - 2:36

Nomura providing the goods. Tabata pls....

BELIEVE!

I think it's great that S-E and other Japanese SHs are finally giving their developers their deserved spotlight to interact with the fans and promote their games. Before it was rare to see Japanese developers (outside of Kojima) attend American and European conventions, it's good to see that they've finally realized they have plenty of fans around the world (probably even more than in Japan).

Assuming this is just a ~3 minutes trailer, I'm really hoping for a meaty, uncut game footage that shows high level gameplay with magic, summon, gambit and etc in totally new environment later on.

I'd love to get another Nomura directed trailer, but I guess that won't happen.

I miss the overall look and feel of the game and the Luhrmann flair that it had at and prior to E3 2013.

There are some parts now that really remind me of FFVIII now and I appreciate that as well. There's a good and bad to both styles, but Nomura's game definitely felt more unique.

The trailer for FF7R was great and I like that we will get a FF game directed by Nomura, but I wish they had let Nomura work on XV until the very end. :(
So did most of us.

I wanted the full vision. Sigh. I wonder if Nomura will ever get another shot at a pet project. Maybe if he can demonstrate that he can get flagship titles out faster than anyone else, when using a competent engine (fingers crossed for Unreal 4), he'll get a second shot.

I'm thinking about going to bed, setting an alarm for 2AM, watching the trailer, and then going back to sleep the next few hours before I go to work at 6:45 AM.

Why does everything have to be on a Wednesday?! Why not Monday's & Tuesdays when I'm off?! ;A;

I am running a trailer length bet on Twitter and most people expect something between 3 and 4 minutes, I think it is a verisimilar guess.

They could still go XIII again and drop 7 minutes but I think they should show a moderate amount of content, not spoil half the game. Any chance of the trailer being Nomura-directed? *0*

We are 6:50 hours away from it and I AM SO READY FOR THIS!! :D

I'm off Sunday and Monday. I wish these things would happen on Monday at the beginning of the week when I'm off lol. I think it makes sense too. reveal it on Monday and we all talk about it all week.

I stand by my 5:10. May not be exact but I think they know people want to see new stuff or stuff outside of Duscae and that it's been awhile for that.

Then again, they did also say they'll be showing stuff throughout the year at over events too. Wow. Really hard to predict this. :P

I think at the least it will match the E3 trailer for time.

Exactly, the key here is that we don't know how much content they have ready to be shown. It could make for two hefty trailers for GC and TGS or they could only have for shorter trailers, or even choose to make them short, so many possibilities! xD

I placed a bet at 4:00, of course it is an estimate, no way I expect the trailer to last an exact amount of minutes lol

I know! It would be so much easier lol! It kinda sucks too that the Q&A's will be on times when I'm at work. I know someone will record it, but it would've been nice to see it live. At least, I'll get to see the ATR tho.

Got to wake up early, so no way I'm purposefully staying up for this. But if insomnia strikes I'll make lemonade and watch it on repeat until I pass out or until my wife wakes up and gives me a long and re-evaluative gaze.

I would sacrifice FF7 remake for Nomura's original XV ;-;

I would avatar quote you but that's low hanging fruit. :)

Excited for this trailer! And that mist gathering above Insomnia is totally Alexander. Niflheim's patron eidolon/summon/whatever is Bahamut right? They have dragon shit all over their emblems and banners. I doubt it's Bahamut.

I'm glad the E3 conferences are usually on Mondays. So I can literally just chill at home and watch them. I then usually take the next couple of days off to let everything soak in.

Yea I'll be waking up and this trailer will already be out and I'll be at work during the ATR. I'll also be at work when they drop the MGSV trailer and new gameplay lol.

Why would you guys say this :(
Truth is i trust Nomura with VII more than anyone else .
He can always make another FF game or IP but they only going to be one VII remake .
Because honestly, while FFVII was my favorite gaming experience, it was already my favorite, and I was looking forward to XV as Nomura's magnum opus, which would hopefully beat out FFVII's experience to me. And then it's suddenly like, 'haha, sike, he's just gonna remake that same game you already love, instead of making a brand new one for you'

After the magic of the FFVIIR trailer wore off, I was ultimately disappointed, when I connected the dots and realized that the remake probably was a big reason for him being pulled.

Im expecting the trailer to be 3min+ since its the first trailer to have a name, maybe its going be one long cutscene

Holy shit. Square gives no fucks.

Their biggest troll so far has been the logo for Final Fantasy XIII. I wonder what that was representing for YEARS and then you play the game and find out literally in the last 5 minutes. The logo being the ending was so ridiculous but hilarious at the same time.

I'm pretty sure that people don't want an actual remake of FF7 in the first place. They only want prettier graphics but no changes to the story or the gameplay.

I don't want story changes but I do want updated graphics and a gameplay change. I want to see how this game would play with a more action based approach.

I'm willing to bet on story Trailer for GC, gameplay Trailer for TGS (alongside release date), and this trailer won't go over 4:00.

So sad about no more Nomura trailers. His XV trailers reminded me of Kojima's mgs trailers, specially the E3 2013 one.

It certainly makes you wonder what they told Amano about the idea behind the logo.

"Please draw something and we'll come up with a way to put in the game later."

Nomura may be the best at making trailers in the industry (along with Kojima, of course), but let's not take that as a confirmation that the perfect trailer means a perfect game.

Personally, I think it sucks that Tabata is having to do something that isn't his vision. Nomura is better suited for his own thing and I like that idea better. It's still really foolish to speak in hypotheticals unless you can travel through to an alternate timeline or something.
