Soooo...anyone else feeling like Nathan probably is no more?
That "text" from Nathan at the end totally wasn't him. :/
I kind of feel bad for him in a way. He obviously got in way over his head. I feel like they never meant to kill anyone but Rachel was an accident and they've been covering it up since, and it was affecting Nathan pretty bad ("Rachel in the dark room" over and over). Obviously they're both scum, but I don't think they were killing anyone.
I'm guessing Nathan finally flipped out completely when he found out that Max was searching his room and told Jefferson and he's probably dead now. :/
"Got" or "is"?
I just assumed his partner/mentor Mr. Jefferson just used his phone. No meed to kill him to do that, i mean they are working together after all.
With regards to them "getting in over their heads" well thats what happens when you start kidnapping/drugging/ possibly raping people. Although it could be argued that Mr Jefferson is manipulating Nathan cause of all his mental issues that his dad has no interest in fixing, but still fuck em both. I dont see the rachel in the dark room thing as guilt but just a part of his mental instability, imo.
Did anyone ever stop to hear Jefferson's phone call right before the scene with Kate's suicide attempt?
Before you enter the classroom and find Nathan and Victoria at your Desk, Jefferson's phone rings while you're talking to him and he walks off to answer it, so I stayed around and listened for awhile.
The tone of what he was saying made me think he was talking to either a girlfriend/wife or someone who was essentially a superior to him, he seemed a little stressed out.
Given what we know, I found it very interesting.
Jefferson would probably commit suicide before killing Nathan. With how powerful the Prescotts are, there's no way Jefferson could get away with it.
Unless he could frame someone for it . . .
Yep... I didn't think it was creepy at first because it sounded like an ex-wife or something, but now...
Nathan is in the classroom talking to Victoria so the phone call isn't from Nathan.

Also fairly certain the note about calls is from Nathan's father, not Jefferson. It's there to explain why Nathan has multiple phones.
I didn't think about how Nathan is in the classroom at that point so the call is certainly from someone else, nice catch.
I'm still fairly sure the note on the computer is from Jefferson though. He doesn't write the same way his father writes Nathan. The "Or you're on your own" part seems off. The letter isn't signed by his father either like the others usually are. And we know for a fact Jefferson operates out of that bunker and doesn't want Nathan to call him out by his real name.
Is it possible that Jefferson is Sean Prescott?
There's a picture of Sean Prescott in the Barn, but he has blondish hair, so I'm gonna say no.
Sean Prescott and Jefferson are two relatively famous people in Arcadia Bay so it's very unlikely they are the same person.
I'd wager Jefferson might be a Prescott (bastard child? cousin?) but he isn't Sean.
Is it possible that Jefferson is Sean Prescott? In one of the letters his father admonishes Nathan for "calling his name in public" or something to that effect. Why would that be an issue unless his father is going around with an assumed identity?
Um guys... what if Samuel is old Mr.Jefferson and the Homeless woman is old Max...
i just blew my own mind
I don't think Jefferson is Sean Prescott either. I still think that Jefferson is the author of the text message and note but we won't know until next episode I guess as both could be using the bunker regularly. At least we know Jefferson does. We don't know that Sean Prescott does not but he definitely knows it exists. I wonder why he'd leave the psychiatrist note there knowing Nathan would likely see it.
I think there's more to what was going on the night we broke into Blackwell ever since I saw Mari's video on how there seemed to be people everywhere we went before we went and how the police said there was "vandalism" when we did none. There was a lot going on that night. The lights shut off in the photography class and Jefferson comes out with Victoria. Dana mentioned she'd just snuck out so she somehow knew Jefferson was there at night? Maybe Nathan told her he had business with Jefferson or something and left and she was that as an opportunity to get Jefferson on her good side. There's also the principal who was drunk and talking to someone if I remember correctly. I might go through that section again sometime.
I think he was drunkenly talking to himself. Although does anyone think he's a part of all this? At the end of Ep.2, during the montage, he's talking to Jefferson, who then drives away. He seemed a lot angrier than when he chastised him about not noticing Kate's' situation.
Let's see.. Samuel has 6 letters... 123456What if Jefferson is actually Kojima
I dunno man, being stuck in time could fuck you upThere's no way. Samuel and Jefferson don't even have the same head shape.
Done with 3 episodes. On to number 4.
This game is amazing
What if Jefferson is actually Kojima
I've seen that, and I guess there's some plausibility to it.
If you go from episode to episode as well, Max sounds older in each episode, at least to me. Then you've got the homeless woman who says she's been there for a thousand years and Max has no problem with that.
I guess if you wanna get nuts, you could say Rachel Amber is Max from the timeline Max swapped into, and yeah...that's where your mind goes wild.
Someone on the Life is Strange subreddit identified the stills on Nathan's projector as being from the film The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.

He was never on mine. I feel dumb.Honestly, Jefferson was on my suspect list since Moment 1.
He was never on mine. I feel dumb.
And I hope I don't have to appeal to Nathan for something in episode 5. I'd be beyond fucked.
The computer note is totally Jefferson. Like Max comments that it's from Nathan's dad but she doesn't have the whole story yet and it's obviously not his father. Why would his dad insist on Nathan using a burner phone and not saying his name in public? Haha.
Anyway, any theories going around about the Prescotts and the tornado? They have a storm bunker, and I don't remember where, but pretty sure there is a note somewhere (barn?) about how they'll just wait out the storm and rebuild the town? I wonder if they've done it before.
I can at least be calm I stopped Warren off beating Nathan into fetal position. David? Shit, I have nothing.
You're a bettermanteenage girl than I. Once I saw him pull a gun on them again, I let Warren get his alpha on with no remorse. I never picked a choice so fast before that lol.
When David talks with Max in the garage if you sided with him he echoes a bit of the warning he had if you didn't side with him. "Don't wander off into the dark" is worded differently but seems to be something he feels the need to say rather than something that came up to him during the conversation. I swear if he needs to be home (and thus find the Dark Room's map directions we left open on Chloe's computer) to save Max then I'd really have to rely on Nathan or Frank or Warren and thankfully I think I could manage that. I did get Nathan suspended but pulled Warren off him and Nathan still has his gun. I've been cool to Warren and Frank now seems to be real cool so hopefully one of them comes through.
Do you know the sequence of choices that keep him home? I assume not blaming him or siding with chloe.
Eh, I stopped the fight more out of annoyance at Warren and Dontnod. They keep freaking forcing Warren as a protector down your throat. Pisses me off. They let me rein in Chloe's aggressiveness, but Warren just sticks his nose in, and they don't allow any way to avoid it. Screw your time powers Max, this guy will protect you now.I cant believe people stopped him, he really deserved it after all the shit hes done to chloe, kate, rachel, various others.
But if he were to ever get arrested I could see him getting off with diminished capacity or something with his fathers money and the fact that hes fucked up mentally.
