True about the open event thing, but I'd say this is worse in terms of viewership numbers. MLG never had Capcom games. (People still blew up MLG wayyyy harder then than I'm seeing anybody blow up Capcom/Sony now.)

I personally don't think Ricky Ortiz will get in. She's going to get gated pretty hard at Canada Cup, SCR by the top international players and the top U.S. players will all go to the rest of the NA ranking events Summer Jam, Defend the North, and First Attack in Puerto Rico. There is that Costa Rica major that is also a ranking event but I don't know who is going to that.
