I plan on voting for Trump or Paul. Why? Because not everybody at GAF is left-wing and I agree 100% with everything Trump is saying on immigration.
You think Mexicans are rapists?

The BG just had an article comparing Trump to the anti-immigrant but pro-welfare state far right of Europe.

Sorry guys, but he still firmly believed that Obama's birth certificate was not real. Like, actual believer.
If he believes something like that so readily, I'd be fearful of what kind of assumptions (and accusations) he'll take on easily if he becomes Commander in Chief.

Did anyone really think Hillary would beat a Republican-nominated Trump, or a Republican-nominated potted plant for that matter, by double digits in the general vote?
It's a partisan country with two parties, and Hillary is one of the most polarizing candidates in recent memory. Winning by 6% would be a solid victory, and probably a best case scenario.

I was reading some thread that was analysing Trump's behaviour the other day and it dawned on me. I think Trump did that in preparation for this campaign. He challenged the sitting president and the sitting president acknowledged him and responded. This put him on the same level as Obama which, I believe, is what he wanted.

If you know exactly what he's been saying, then it's a bit strange that you are trying to argue that it would be difficult to get Mexico to pay for the wall, since his proposal outlines exactly how he will get Mexico to pay for the wall, and it spells out a way in which it can be done without Mexico's consent.
Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options]. We will not be taken advantage of anymore.
Do people in America know what their president actually does? Because I feel like that's the kind of job you want some kind of qualification for.
Hillary was a mediocre Senator, a mediocre Secretary of State, and will be a mediocre President if elected.
That said, I hope she wins. Her core politics are the most aligned with mine, so that has to be prioritized.
Why is that prioritized over leadership?! Important shit happens beyond core politics.
You could easily use this logic to assume Bush Jr was a mastermind though.
Example: Bush Jr did a bad job on purpose to allow Obama into office, which he knew would push the right of America to become even crazier. This then paves the way for a Republican to take the far right of America under his wing and allow this Republican into office with a Republican congress and senate. Bush Jr was looking ahead.
I'll gladly eat crow though if Trump releases a book in the future saying he did all of the crazy birther shit to keep him relevant for upcoming Primary.
It's just that the birth certificate thing was so mind numbingly stupid that I would sooner believe that Trump is really smart than actually believe shit like that. I mean, how could a person that thinks the president of the U.S. was born in another country even remember to breathe?

Well, many great mass murderers in history have been great leaders... we need the right policy as well.
:jncAre any of you guys watching Trump? He just spoke just a few miles down the road from where Jeb is about to speak. He said since Jeb draws so poorly, that he thought he would stop by to actually draw a crowd, haha.
He just stole Ross Perot's bit about the giant sucking sound:

The only news is that Trump's name recognition and media coverage has people taking him seriously, at least the people who were going to vote Republican regardless.
If Trump doesn't get the nomination I'm voting democrat. Just fyi
Trump is perceived to be honest just because he's an abrasive asshole. He still lies, deflects, and contradicts his earlier positions.
I am confused by people who would vote for Trump over Clinton. You must be a single issue voter (on what issue I am not sure), because otherwise a Clinton presidency would be closer to a Sanders one than a Trump presidency.
Remember, no matter how great their ideas are during a campaign, all of these candidates must work with what will likely continue to be GOP dominated congress. Also I do not want Trump to nominate Omarosa the SCOTUS (or do I?)
Oddly enough, the answers to your questions are in your statement itself.
There's a GOP dominated congress. Oil & water just haven't been mixing, so Obama couldn't get anything done over stupid partisan politics. Clinton would face the same issue. However, maybe a Republican can work with other Republicans.
Or maybe, a great negotiator from outside the political realm can put partisanship aside and effectively compromise. You may reject that notion, but that's the sales pitch that's so far working.
Can I vote for your cat? Seems like a solid leader. Our cat can't get enough of Tump either...

So, you think that shitty change is better than no change?
That wasn't the question that was asked or answered.
