He also has two hands in all of those games.
In MGS4 he's mostly Solidus, though.

This is the end, beautiful friends.
Haha that's awesomeYou will never fight a rendition of this Metal Gear in Revengeance 2.
Big Boss is obviously not Skullface...it's a red herring. Besides it's probably just a hallucination or there to purposefully mislead people. If it was true, then GZ wouldn't make sense. Also, when you see Big Boss in MG1, 2 and 4, his head and face don't represent that of Skullface either.

I really don't like the new version of the song, I just can't get over it.

Oh damn.
So then "from FOX two phantoms were born" actually means Big Boss has a doppelganger...
Makes sense ...
Did they seriously put a penis on that robot? LMAO

I won't touch them.

IIRC Kojima said this was the end of the MGS line.
Hopefully Konami acknowledges this and calls the other games "Metal Gear __".
Not to say future games will inherently be bad, but it is nice to see MGS as a by-product of Kojima & co.
I don't even think it was supposed to be that. It was just overt symbolism to show that all those people were the same. The only reason people think it could be something literal is because Metal Gear games are batshit crazy and ever since the big reveal from MGS2 the fans think what Kojima had for breakfast has a hidden meaning with dire ramifications on the Metal Gear mythos.
In the last frame of the trailer, with the group, on the far left...
is that a young Otacon?
if there is time travel involved, I will destroy everything MGS related I own and then burn it.
The skullface bit is such an obvious metaphor that I can't believe some people think it's a spoiler.
Come on guys.
Why are you so sure? If a good team follows the model there's great potential there. I guess it depends on what you think of the MGS story. I generally think of it as ridiculous and a squandered opportunity for a great realistic military thriller. There's a chance if a good team takes the helm they retain the same gameplay but bring the story down to earth.

Speculative spoilerOf course it doesn't explain the horn thingy, so i don't know.the Snake you wake up as from coma and play the game is not BB at all, but Venom Snake. While the actual BB has turned into full on Skull Face int the 9 years
Am i allowed to ask this.
In the final shot of the trailer. Is the guy with the metal things on his legs who I think it is...

How can a 70s Metal Gear be more advanced than 2000s

He's been in most of the trailers.
He's a character from Peace Walker, but uses a wheelchair in that.
It's like they completely forgot that in Ground Zeroes, the camera pans from SF to BB in one shot. It can't even be a Fight Club situation.
But now they're talking about time travel. LOL
I'm sure this has been asked many times before, but what is the best way to get caught up to the story?
I've played 1,2,3,4 many times. But I never played Peace Walker. How should I get caught up without actually playing the game?
