How is the behind the scenes BD in the CE version? Literally the biggest reason why I'm interested in it. If it's good and long enough might go for that.

It says "SPOILERS" on the disc, so... I don't think we can see it before finishing the game...

I'm so jerking myself off with that hand while it installs, although I wasn't expecting an actual case as as well as the steelbook case, so now I'm bummed that I didn't get a custom cover from Shagg like I had originally planned. :(

Shit.

Can't decide if I should buy the normal version or the CE. Kind of a risk for just the behind the scenes disk. If it's good, then I'm happy. If it's some 10min run of the mill stuff then I'm not happy. The difference is 50€ anyway...

I hope the behind the scenes is at least as good as MGS4's disc. I bet it's going to be heavily cut due to a lot of the Konami and Kojima stuff though.

It's probably just voice acting sessions with Kiefer.

You're getting free unlimited handjobs and you're complaining about a custom cover? Priorities man.

Not sure how I feel about that little toddler arm, but I'll keep my preorder for the CE if only for that extra Bluray (and those MGO extras).

At least that big Diamond Dogs box looks kinda cool.

game uk canceled my CE order by mistake, but after seeing that unboxing video i am no longer sad tbh. half size bionic arm is too small for my liking and for £50 more meh. im going with steelbook.

Damn, wasn't going to buy this (haven't played 3 or 4), but really tempted to jump in. Should I at least play MGS3 (I have it on vita only)?

Also -PC code for £25 but no companion app or trading in, or PS4 from simply games for £40 with the added benefit of the companion app and ability to trade in later if necessary?

you have enough time to play through MGS3, i think.

get ps4 so there will be more people to play with in MGO.

Yeah, play MGS3, watch the PEace Walker Movie on Youtube and also play Ground Zeroes, then play MGSV. But to be honest, MGS4 is pretty important too to understand a lot of things.

I might need to read back up on MGS1&2, been a long time. mgs1 just felt like a fun adventure movie and I wouldn't have paid a huge amount of attention to the story. With MGS2 it went batshit insane about 2/3 through and I just couldn't comprehend what was going on so I let it wash over me.

I was heavily on PS4 side first, but them I compared my copies of GZ on both PS4 and PC, and came to the conclusion that I want to play the last Kojima MGS how it looks the best.

It's a pretty big difference in night scenes with added light sources, and overall especially if you can downscale (even from 1440p).
The engine benefits a lot from higher resolutions and it looks stunning.

really, you should've at least played MGS3/Peace Walker/Ground Zeroes. Very much worth finding a recap or summary of them on youtube.

PS4. Performance is great and you're not missing features.

So I may be getting the game today, but it's my dad's birthday today and then I'm away for the weekend for my Anniversary. Early game novelty decimated lol.

what is it, like your 2nd anniversary with your spouse? and your dad is way too old to be caring about birthdays?

this is your 25th anniversary with Metal Gear Solid. spend time with your true love.

Dude. Priorities are important. You dad has birthday every year, but MGSV only releases early once.

Have a fucking good one.

I'll be with you all Saturday daytime

Edit: If I'd been a little more savvy/on the ball yesterday, I would have pre-ordered from Simply, too, during my lunch break at 12:00... What a fucking idiot!
