What is your RAM / VRAM usage in game?Running around Afghanistan on D-Horse. I get some strange drops in framerate. Like to 0. Huge stutters. I'm guessing it has to do with loading the world from the HDD. I'm a rock solid 60 at High settings everywhere else.
i5 4690k @ 4.4GHz
Radeon 7850
8GB DDR3 @ 1333
Need to get those mods going.

Does this game also downlod slowly for you? 1mb/s is the maximum and my connection is very good.
Lack of SSR sounds like an oversight or bug. It's clearly in the engine, as per Ground Zeroes and the official comparison. An issue is probably causing localreflections in one of the data files to remain unchecked.

Anybody able to run locked 60fps at 4K in Afghanistan?
I can do 60fps at 1440P on a single Titan X, but get some dips at 4K. Downsampling does a lot to clean up the image quality, especially in things like power lines and such when looking through the binoculars.
Worth turning down some settings for 4K or just play max 1440?
Should I also enable Ansitropic Filtering through the nvidia settings?
You should just turn it on globally, it's often barely a performance hit and helps in many games.
ok thanks! anything else I should set up via the nvidia config?
If people can and would like, pelase comment my thread on the steam forums about missing screen space reflections so that it it gains some traction!

You mean geforce exp? HBAO+ you set in your nvidia control panel, everything else just set in your ingame options.
no, I meant the control panel. Some posts above someone mentioned that I should enable Ansitropic Filtering via the control panel, thought there might be something else (besides AF and HBAO+) to configure there.

Done .
Done.
So, can someone confirm if the mouse cursor is still showing up while playing with a gameoad?
Thank you. Could we perhaps get this pinned to the OP as well? The more people that add to the steam thread, the higher chance it has of being fixed! Spread the word brothers/sisters!

OMG how much of the intro do I have to watch before I can change settings?
Anyone running it on a 980 at 1440p? still downloading atm T-T
Don't skip itOnce you wake up in the hospital bed you'll get sent to the main menu. It's safe to skip that cutscene. You don't miss anything important.
Also, M/KB is fine.
I have a Radeon 7850 as well, same amount of ram but instead an FX-8320 processor. I sit at 60 on High with Motion Blur and Depth of Field both turned off and only frame drop to about 56-58 in random spots where a tonne is being loaded.
Maybe try turning off Motion Blur and Depth of Field?
Don't skip it
Anyone playing this on ultrawide? Black bars or not?

BTW, does HBAO+ work with DSR? In other games in the past, turning on DSR would turn off HBAO+ for some reason.
Guide shots of HBAO+ were capped with DSR enabled.
