Yes, the emotes and class items only come in the physical/digital collectors editions. Everyone else needs to pay $20 for it.

Auto rifles arent that good for pvp as theyre out classed by other weapons.
The strangers rifle is a good pvp weapon if you still have it.

Not entirely true, the entire Meta-game is up in the air right now until TTK comes out.

I'm able to get lvl 5 during IB week using my trusty Suros Regime. Auto rifles can be used during PvP but you must...
1. Have good internet
2. Always go for head shots. More than 3 body shots and you aren't winning the shootout.
3. Always be the aggressor. Always.

I'm usually in the top 3 kills when I play and I'm not al lthat great at PvP to be honest. But if you like the gun, use it, i say.

It's annoying for me, I play both PS3 and PS4 and now I've been forced to go PS4 only.

It's weird too, why provide an upgrade path for your first year players but not one for your big second year release?

They are trying to phase out those old consoles.

My Pest Control Matrix does fairly will in the Crucible since the update. Previously, I was having a hard time doing any damage to competing Guardians, but now I seem to have an easier time scoring a lot higher. The Impact score on that gun is pretty high, too.

yup, we have no idea what kind of drops we would start getting, what kind of weapons will be made available, we shouldn't be making assumptions based off of year 1 guns and their archtypes, when things can be totally different in year 2

I posted it a while ago and I'll post again. I've only seen that the CE content bundled with TTK, meaning you can't get TTK seperately and the CE seperately. I also only saw it through pressing on the TTK icon on Destiny on the world map and couldn't see it on the PSN Store at least, which pushed me to try and cancel the TTK order, which still hasn't been removed from my account, so will be good to see how it goes..

friends wanted me to get this and pick Destiny back up. (I have friends on XB1 and 360 that play this.)

I tried the update. Seemed ok, PVP obviously is still a weak point (red barring guy killed everyone and scored around 6k points).

Was gonna get it on 360 and do the upgrade for the XB1 to play with both groups. Found out you cannot do that anymore. Both groups want me to buy it and play with them. Solution? Not buy it on either and play other games instead so there is no favoritism displayed.

Yep, those of us good little soldiers who bought vanilla Destiny and all the subsequent updates have to pay an additional 20 dollars if we want to dance differently. I'm proof that it's possible to love a game despite hating the assholes making it. Or marketing it. Whoever makes and approves decisions like that one.

Even though I've been floored by the quality of a bunch of other games this year, this is probably the most anticipated release for me. Lots of build up and investment in this one due to all the time I've put into Destiny already.
