Okay soooooo
Should I continue past Mission 30....also does this game actually complete the timeline loop?
Also do they ever get into Ishmael's story?

I don't really see how people liked the Sahelanthropus fight so much. I haven't tried it on Extreme yet, but it felt really boring and repetitive to me.
It was the least tense Metal Gear fight I have had in this series. Possibly because you are usually stuck in a tight space with little room to maneuver.
I didn't really find the attack patterns to be very interesting either.
I know it is probably not a popular opinion, but my favorite fight in the series is the Rex vs. Ray fight in MGS4 especially on higher difficulties.
Mechanically it isn't anything crazy but I liked the attack patterns Ray had and the spectacle of the fight was awesome.

I mean the last cutscene does actually take place during the first Metal Gear game I think?

I should probably play the two Metal Gear games at some point. Are they difficult?
I can't even finish Mega Man 2
lol same. I never got a chance to finish MGS 1/2 and never played 3. Hoping for some sort of legacy collection on PC or PS4.

Oh bro, I was talking about the MSX games lol!!! You gotta check out the MGS games man, hopefully they put the Legacy collection on another platform (PC would be nice). I'm down for FOX Engine remakes as long as the original games come out to PC.lol same. I never got a chance to finish MGS 1/2 and never played 3. Not difficult but MG1 is an exercise in patience.
You will hear the same song over and over and over again. Remember keycards from the early MGS games? MG1 has them but doors are not labeled. So you must cycle repeatedly through keycards just to get the right one. Also expect trap floors to instantly kill you.
MG2 is a must-play if you like MGS1. It actually has a story beyond GO STOP BAD GUYS. However, it is also obtuse in a few areas so don't feel ashamed to use a walkthrough when you get stuck.

Guys, I still don't understand why Quiet is dead.
She has no lungs. She breathes through her skin. The virus kills by destroying the lungs of its host.
It won't kill her, but she's still infectious. She may as well be dead thoGuys, I still don't understand why Quiet is dead.

Yeah totally. You get to see how Punished Snake becomes Venom Snake.PSY・S;178821101 said:Should I even bother with Quiet's mission?
This isn't true actually. There's a container that allows you to Fulton out of there. It brings you back to the ACC and if you want to go back to mission 45 you need to do side op 150 again (grab the Intel file)Just make sure you take a good rocket launcher with you because once you're in that mission you have to beat it.
If you haven't seen the cutscenes in it go for it.
Its completely raunchy, ridiculous B movie tier and the game design is....questionable. Just make sure you take a good rocket launcher with you because once you're in that mission you have to beat it.

Fucking one billion tanks and fucking auto tracking one hit fucking tank shells form that fucking last fucking tank. And fuck you if you try to extract them all. fucking fuck fuck. god fuck shit.
The more I recall the mission, the more it feels like the actual final boss battle.
Only, it's the kind of final boss that's like Tekken's Jinpachi in that it's hideously unbalanced.
Why is Quiet dead? I played 45 and didn't see her die. Is it in a cassette tape?
Also are we sure that she isn't Chico? Because I didn't see him once in the game.
Actually weak point is the tank things on its back.Yeah I mean...
Rex: shoot the radome, shoot the cockpit, Liquid boxing
Ray: fight a couple dozen of these guys holy shit, swordfight
Shagohod: thrilling ass motorcycle chase, shoot Volgin on top of the thing
MGS4: Rex vs Ray, nuff said
V: just shoot it wherever with missiles or machine guns who cares
HOOOOOOO BOY

How does the cutscene after mission 11 plays out if you chose to kill Quiet?
You know, the one with the fighter yet.
