No since all the expansions are required for you to buy it. You should buy the legendary edition which is essentially a bundle of everything released so far. Its U$60.
Idk some faster than others apparently, in 2 hours I only got up to level 37 from level 34, I expect another hour or two of missions for me

Thanks, thats about what I figured when I saw Luke Smith say it was going to be 6-7 hours long. I thought "yeah, 4 hours tops"

From B.net: Legendary Loot drop rates have been increased across all activities. Legendary Marks are now earnable by completing Daily Story Chapters, Weekly Heroic Strikes, Daily PVP Activities, Weekly PVP Activities and Dismantling Year Two Legendary items.

Wow...TTK uncommon armor just 5 points under maxed Legendary/Exotic Y1 armor.

I've only played the first new quest but WOW that was great. Looking forward to my new subclass now.
I have Uncommon armor at 175 and a blue pulse rifle at 186. So strange at first.

Can't wait to dive into this tonight. One question, apologies if it's a dumb one.....I'm really attached to my Suros Regime. Is there ANY way to level it up so it's on par with the year two legendaries, and so I don't have to leave it behind with my other year one weapons?

Yes, it has a black year two version.
I'm 90% sure it is a disc for base Destiny, plus a single download code for TDB+HOW+TTK

If you have the digital version of Destiny, you will never need the disc.
All discs for Destiny contain only data for the base game. Additional game data for updates and expansions is downloaded from your console's respective content service.

yeah probably only guns that drop normally which you don't have.
all my 10+ friends got the one gun they didn't have already so it's probably not a coincidence. i was only missing hard light and i got it.

there's the raid, quests, strikes and a lot of PVP to be had.
but yeah i could've done with an hour more of main story.
There are quests after the story, raid and then endgame content + MP maps
There's more quests after the end of the story.
The "end" of the story is just Act 1.

Apparently they only get coverted into faction commendations at a rate of 50-1

But I'm guessing all of the story content with rewarding cutscenes are relegated to the main story.
Also disappointed about the "giant space battle" scene only being the opening to the DLC.

All Crucible and Vanguard Marks were turned into Commendations. 50 marks = 1 commendation, so 4 total if you had them maxed. Each one gives you +250 rep I believe.
I guess not lol, fast paced fps makes me sick, I can't play them... :-/

Yes. Vanguard quartermaster has them. He's located by the ships and sparrow vendor across from Dead Orbit.

If cutscenes are the only thing you came for, then yeah. But there is still story being told by the characters involved in TTK by more missions after the main arc.

I had the exact same question, and I was informed that the Vanguard Quartermaster has them, and they're not that great. I've yet to see for myself, though.
It's an entirely new weapon, separate from the year one version. If you have the year one version, then you already have the year two version unlocked for purchase at the Exotic Weapons kiosk in the Vanguard area of the tower. But it'll cost you a bunch of Legendary Marks so it will be awhile until you can purchase it.
Yeah, it seems you are guaranteed legendary gear from ranking up factions. I ranked up Crucible, Vanguard and Future War Cult just using the commendations I got from the old marks, and already got three lvl 40 legendaries without even leaving the Tower.
