Very likely.It's awful.
Will probably fit the movie perfectly.
Has there been a Bond theme since You Know My Name that has topped it?
Sounds like a typical Bond song
Sounds like a classic bond song at the start and then downhill from there.
After Adele's take last time around, anything following was likely to pale in comparison.
I don't like the high pitched vocals.
I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as most of the later Roger Moore themes or the Brosnan theme's sans Goldeneye.
Fun fact: it's still the only Bond theme to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.Still waiting for a theme to surpass "A View To A Kill."
Can't believe they gave a Bond theme to Duran fucking Duran.
Yeah, I've heard worse (All Time High and Another Way to Die come to mind), but bland definitely fits. I also would've preferred Muse, with this in particular from their last album having influenced that opinion.Bad? No, I wouldn't say that. The music is nice enough and there's nothing I can particularly fault it for... Except...
Is it bland? Yes. Very. Extremely forgettable, and I don't even think an exceptional credit sequence can change that. Ah well.
Still think they should have went with Muse.
Sans GoldenEye? I'll take GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World Is Not Enough over this without a second thought.I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as most of the later Roger Moore themes or the Brosnan theme's sans Goldeneye.
Knows what's up.I dunno, I LOVE Tomorrow Never Dies, those vocals.

Lies! You Know My Name is better than Skyfall in every way.Skyfall still remains best of modern Bond songs.

I kept expecting him to do the screaming bit from MJ's Earth Song

(even though I enjoyed the idea of Christopher Walken as a Bond villain).

I cant tell if your being sarcastic or not. I reeaaaaaallllly dont like this song. Why would you only take 20 minutes over the biggest opportunity of your career, what a douche.I realize what this reminds me of now.. .Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive"! And that's obviously a great thing. Some ridic disco elements in the delivery.
a good mix of innovation and classic Bond tropes, just like the movie. But also just like the movie, most people just want the same thing over and over instead.
