I really want to know what her background is. They could very easily say she was part of the Avengers Academy for a bit before blowing out.

Plot twist: Instead of punching the shit out of
Scarlet Witch, she instead clocked Pepper, which is why we never saw her in Avengers 2!

Two weeks ago I had the 17 year old cashier at Taco Bell tell me how convinced he was that the the new Star Wars were not only gonna be bad, but possibly worse than the prequels - his reasoning was basically "because Disney".

Smoking in an investigator's office always sets that noirish/pulpy mood though. It's not the end of the world that it's missing, but it is a bit of a disappointment that it is taken out.

I recall Devin Faraci had "sources" that said Daredevil was going to suck before it released or something, and we know how that turned out. Don't know that you can really trust industry scuttlebutt as who knows where exactly it's coming from, or why it's being said.

Clarkson, who has directed such notable shows as “Orange is the New Black,” “Bates Motel,” and “Dexter,” has helmed the first two episodes of their Netflix Original Series "Marvel’s Jessica Jones." Clarkson also served as an Executive Producer on the premiere episode. The series will be streaming everywhere that Netflix is available on November 20.

They said she CAN fly but Jessica chooses not too since her powers have waned and fluctuated.. She likely uses them as she sees fit

They hinted we will see her power and confidence grow as the series progressess

Yeah, love Ivy but I'm crossing my fingers that he's just to this show what Faraci was to Daredevil.

New teaser is great, btw. And we should get a full trailer from NYCC this weekend.

If this is the case, this makes me happy. I'd love to see her fly in the last couple of episodes. If Supergirl can do it, FX wise, then JJ can.
 
Wow, I hope they continue with that motion poster format they did with Daredevil and this for Luke Cage and Iron Fist. They're using the same rainy day neon soaked streets as they did for one of the earlier trailers for DD. I also hope they continue to use different light motifs for the remaining shows. It looks like it'll be violet, blue, and black for JJ compared to DD's red, yellow, and blue. Cage's will probably be yellow and brown, while Iron Fist will be yellow and green.
 
The lighting reminds me a lot of Wolf Among Us (which was of course itself influenced by years of comics and movies, but the art direction was great nonetheless). Excited for this, Daredevil is still the only Marvel thing that really worked for me, even though it wasn't perfect. No idea who Jessica Jones or any of the upcoming Netflix heroes are, but excited to find out.
 
Was watching the first Iron Man last night, saw both happy and Obadiah smoking in the same shot. Maybe it's just an everybody but Favreau thing.

Would be interesting because she rarely flies in the comics because she sucks at it.

If I recall correctly from the comic, she's just out of practice with flying hence why she super jumps instead.
