I never did read anything definitive on what led Orton to want out of Dallas. He was a pretty solid backup, I have no idea what this team saw in Wheeden. Jones might be terrible at evaluating QBs.

The Seahaws of the last two years being a team with a really really good defense and above average QB. Every other game has at least an elite QB, or an above average QB playing at an elite level in the playoffs on one side if not on both sides.'

Looking at those teams, that tells me the two ways to get to the superbowl is to have an elite QB, or have really really good defense with an above average qb. There's only a handful of teams that have either one of those, its no coincidence that those same teams are always in the superbowl. That or have all the elite QBs go out with injury and then its just a crap shoot.
