We're getting issue 6 and All-New, All-Different Marvel books next week. Gonna be weird reading about Doctor Strange's death in SW and then reading his new solo book right after.
I just noticed that....huh. Though, seem like some people are a bit excited for Point One.

OH SHIT, isn't this also where the hip-hop covers come out?

All of these will be mine. Hell of a month.

Still SMH at ANAD starting with SW still going on. They better not spoil the ending to secret wars with this shit, though I have no idea how they'll avoid that.

ANAD launching this month makes it easy for me to wait it out and start going MU-only in 2016

Could use a break from buying new books all the time once Secret Wars is over. Maybe if some of these ANAD books are exceptional I'll go back to trades.

What's this 0.1?

It's like those "Point One" books they had for Marvel Now! and whatnot. Basically a primer to set you up for the new stories.

So this Siege 4 preview.

Ben Grimm is gonna be pissed.

Always figured at least the wall was made out of him, but I even wonder if the underlying surface of Battleworld was made out of him, going back to I think SW2, when they found the Maker's arc, the land had similar plates, colors. Also seemed to hold the shape of a person (large hand, a giant face)

Was this ever proven in a book somewhere? There's alot of books I never got into. Think Siege 2 or 3 kinda proved Ben was The Shield.

I need spoilerz :'(

MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR SECRET WARS #6.

The stuff in the preview happens.
Reed and Reed are building probes. Ultimate Reed wants to get on with defeating Doom, 616 Reed thinks it would be a good idea to figure out how all existence wouldn't end first.
Valeria finds out Molecule Man's location and arrives there at the same time as the two Spider-men, sent by Reed.
Valeria decides she'd rather not know, but helps them access Owen's chamber under the statue.
Owen is very happy to get a hamburger from Miles (very funny) and starts to open up to them. He's keeping this all together, not Doom.
Doom summons his assorted barons and tells them to stop the rebellion lead by the prophet. Sinister is with Carol and planning to betray Doom.
Black Panther and Namor find Stephen Strange's pad. There's a teleporter there, and a little teeny thing we like to call The Infinity Gauntlet.
Sue tells Franklin a bedtime story about how their version of the FF landed on Battleworld and met Doom (Sue's father is a member here rather than Reed). Franklin Snr dies while Doom tames Battleworld.
Johnny agrees to become the Sun, Ben agrees to become the shield.
Thanos sits and talks to Ben, and tells him they've been played for fools - Doom was scared of the FF, so convinced them to sacrifice themselves so they couldn't threaten him.
Ben Grimm stands up.

For future reference, apparently the list tag means the spoiler tag doesn't work. I'm very sorry if anyone came in during the 0.3 seconds before I fixed it.

Also, probably the most interesting thing -
Sue is definitely not 616 Sue. She's a survivor from another, unspecified universe.

so umm....
Franklin and Val didn't exist in this Sue universe right? how did this work again, did Sue remember giving birth to Franklin and Val with Doom?

also, I'm only reading the main secret wars books, and I'm so damn lost. I felt like I'm missing a shit load of story and I'm not sure which books I need to read.

Ok this all sounds super awesome, what I kinda dislike though is how Secret Wars builds up on Tie-Ins.. so to have the real event in my collection I have to get an Omnibus or lots of trades later.

ANAD, Avengers and Spiderman are all a collection of intros for the proper series. Not very interesting, still playing the waiting game. At least it gives us a whole bunch of people we know will get out of Battleworld alive and well.

They merged a whole bunch of heroes from other worlds/dimensions into 616, without explanation or implications. But even then, there is still a multiverse! I hoped this event would get rid of it, but instead they messed up 616 without simplifying the Marvel Universe.

Not a fan of what I'm reading now, I will do as I did before Secret Wars, I will focus on the bunch of heroes / stories I like and forget the overarching shenanigans.

Some people may not want to read Invincible Iron Man #1.

However, unless they lock themselves out from all the ANAD content until Secret Wars finishes, it's going to be a tough ride to keep away from the spoilers.

Thanks for the heads up on this.

Also, read Old Man Logan today and also spoilers for Secret Wars 6:
I'm super confused. It starts with Logan in Ultimate End, concludes with the "end" of Secret Wars, and the epilogue is with Logan waking up in New York of the remade universe.

But the problem with all this is that Miles was seen in the previous Ultimate End. Where did Miles go? How did he meet up with Peter in SW#6? None of the X-Men mention Miles showing up either.

Miles and Peter met up during Secret Wars 2 or 3. He snuck on to The Maker's life raft.

A correction on Carol:
one can see that she has sinister's prism etched in her forehead. Will probably be developed further, assuming that that's not something they used to deceive others.

I mean, were it any other guy, i could see him being bossed around. With him? Nah, something more. Always is.

No, but Miles got
teleported by Strange along with everyone else. The next we see of Miles after that was in Ultimate End, and seemingly without Peter

I've been ignoring that side story, I don't have the money to care about the Ultimate universe.

I've only read SW and Siege so far, in that order and back to back, but man what a great week. Reading Siege right after Secret Wars was really cool.

I want a Secret Wars #5.5 that covers some of the ellipses.

Secret Wars #6 delivered. Praise Doom.

As for ANAD Marvel...

well that's something

ANAD SPOILERS, POST SECRET WARS, WATCH IT

- Ultimate Reed survives :o Well the Maker that is.
- Victor von Doom being all pretty and handsome

I ended up getting Spidy when I saw the Alex Ross cover in person. Funny that this is a new start and yet I'm acting the same way of not reading fan favorites like Iron Man despite being a fan of a lot of characters.

My local joint sold out of Point One right away but will get more in two weeks. DIdn't have Hip Hop Strange so gotta' get that online. Got SW#6 though but I have yet to read #5 and a bunch of other SW comics.

So how big is this spoiler? If it's just that the heroes beat up Dr. Doom and restore order then it's no big deal, superhero comics tend to work like that. Is it a real deal spoiler or something fairly predictable?

Pretty big from what I hear, has a character many fans are looking for in Post SW books but haven't seen.
