TrollOno was like the Dark Knight of trolls.

but Internet Bane broke his back.

I hope everyone goes along with him just for support. Even though everything already got leaked.

I hope the crowd just errupts for him as if nothing got leaked.

Poor ono ;__;
Seriously, it is awfully shitty that this got completely spoiled the day before the event.

So she is brazilian, her super she rolls into a ball and delivers electric shocks. I wonder if shes actually somehow related to Blanka or Blankas pupil.

What if Alex was the last classic character announced at NYCC due to him being recently in tatsunoko and Urien is the main boss making Siliconnas rumor right.

Conspiracy Keanu

You know. If this wasn't leaked this could have been his masterpiece. I'm just imagining someone tweeting about Ono in the blanka suit and everyone is literally dying until the trailer where Ono takes everyone's souls

I honestly wouldn't get your hopes up at this point. Most of us have accepted that the last veteran will be just another SFII character.

Why is WB involved? And yeah I mean I understand why it sucks for him but he's just upset because he wasn't able to troll everyone into thinking it was gonna be a Blanka reveal. Everyone's hyped on Laura regardless, essentially what was lost was made up in pre-additional hype.
Warner Brothers is capcom distribution in BraZil.

Not feeling this new character at all, move-set and visually speaking. Y'all going to call me crazy, but it's a letdown compared to Gief. Here's hoping the last new 2 characters deliver.

Necalli and Rachid >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Laura.

Edit: last 2 characters

What 2 new characters? There's only Zen left

Sorry, I meant to say last 2 characters.
Sim and Zen.

Man this roster has been sooo lackluster imo of course. No zoners, 2.5 charage characters and that's being generous. The super focus on rush down, 4 grapplers in a 16 man roster. Scrubs complaining that they can't get around brain dead zoning tactics are the ones i guess capcom listen to. Whatever atleast the engine from what I played it in beta 1 was pretty good. This is my opinion ofcourse so don't get butthurt.

The game definitely needs more charge and zoning characters. A problem that will only be solved with time as the roster gets bigger with DLC. If it was up to me, I wouldn't have launched this game without Guile, Sagat, Boxer and Sim.

At BGS

Ono walks on to the stage, sad and defeated

Ono: I have been betrayed and stabbed in the back. My fun was taken from me by a cruel magazine and a shameful partner corporation. Here is our trailer for Laura! Our newest member of the Street Fighter roster... but you have already seen it by now.

The lights dim and the trailer plays.

Cheering as the lights go back up and Ono is wearing that stupid Blanka costume.

Ono's head dips low. He takes his Blanka toy from his pocket and holds it up to the crowd.

Ono flips his head up from its previous shadowy position.

Ono: BUT I STILL HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU!!

A maniacal smile cuts across Ono ' face

Blanka's theme from SF2 plays at 300% volume boost. The stage goes dark again.

It is a Blanka trailer. It is clear that Blanka's V-Skill covers him in Electricity permanently for the rest of the round.

The lights come back up again and now Ono is laughing. He won't stop laughing.

Welcome to Troll-No level infinity.

I gagged for a second.

I want juggle characters with high/lows :(

I'm not convinced there's no zoning. I'm not convinced this game is super rushdown. I don't think first day, first week, or first month play is indicative of what a game actually plays like.

Birdie can zone. Rashid looks like he's going to be a zone/keepaway, Gief certainly isn't rushdown, Charlie can be played either way seemed to me. I don't think that there are anti-zoning tools in place. They look like anti-ryu fireballs. The vskills don't do anything for something like Charlie's boom where he can follow up behind it. They don't do anything for moves that hit twice. They won't do anything for a slow fireball like dhalsim's, or a sonic boom like Guile's.

I think it's way too early to say what this game plays like. I DO want somebody to fill Dhalsim's niche just becuase that's a style of play, but just because dhalsim isn't in yet doesn't mean there isn't zoning. Just because people suck and have shit defense after 7 years of SF4 doesn't mean that this game is all rushdown.

Birdie can zone a little yes, but calling him a zooner is just wrong:P Rashid is built 100% around rush down IMO: His projectiles have horrendous recovery unless you cancel them in to his v-skills, and his vtrigger is designed to create momentum. And gief not being a rush down character? What does he have to deal damage from far? His vtrigger is a vacuum.. That says it all. All the projectile characters deal their damage up close too. I am sorry, I just disagree that much zoning will be seen with current cast with all the anti zoning tools in the game.

I think he means actual zoning and not a keep away style. A lot of the systems in sf5 seem to build around zoning and the only reason it seems like it's gonna be rush down is because of how close the characters have to be to get into any sort of footsie range. A lot of the anti fireball stuff in the game seems to just be a faster way to get into this range where people start zoning and playing footsies. The first month is going to look like a really offensive game, but feel it will be a defensive game later on, but I can't predict the future so whatever.

Well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Yo but Laura got a fat ass

I am just disappointed fam. I had high expectations of Laura because of how much I was impressed by Necalli and Rachid.

If Capcom wanted a Latin American combo-grappler character, they should have just asked Namco for King.

All theory fighter, of course, but from what I've seen this is what I gather of Rashid: Rashid's projectiles have terrible startup. They're used to make the opponent guess whether or not he's going to throw them. Make them question how to approach. The spin he does for either different strengths or by holding the button (not sure) helps this since you don't know when he's going to let go of the fireball and he then controls the space when you jump. He has a wall jump that gets him super far away from the opponent. He's got moves that flip him away from the opponent. His fireballs aren't meant to be used in combos, they're meant to make the enemy question how to approach, and when the enemy gets in Rashid uses his high mobility to get away. He's similar to old Vega or Rolento, imo.

So just because Gief wants to be close, he's rush down? How can a slow, lumbering, huge character be rush down? Is that why Snakeyes matches take so long? From all the rushdown?

Birdie isn't a zoning character, but everything about him is meant to keep you away, his normals, his vskill, his chain throws...all meant to be used from a distance.

Edit: I didn't call birdie a zoner. I said birdie CAN zone. He's supposed to zone. All of his tools are built around keeping the opponent out, not being close to the opponent.

Yeah, zoning is more about controlling space and keeping your opponent at a certain distance relative to your own character, not necessarily as far away as possible. Could be as close as within range of your best normal poke. It's not all just O.Sagat Tiger Shot full screen obstacle courses.

I claim credit for the booty on Laura Mika and Cammy.
I feel they read my rant and felt great shame.
ʕ ͡•ᴥ ͡• ʔ

Well, since you're a 3s fan, I'm just going to assume you're always ready for more disappointment.
Heh. I actually haven't even played SFIII that much. I appreciate it mostly because of some the characters it introduced, and the nice sprite work/music.

Characters have always been the main draw for me.

Capcom has always favored hometown. Chun, Cammy, Felicia, June Lin Milliam, Vanessa Schneider, pretty much every RE female post 5. I could go on.
