her v-skill actually has more to it, some kind of dash forward and backstep options, and her fireball can be charged. it's got a fat ass hit box (can't jump in on it at all) and eats 2 hits, and stays on the screen for a pretty long time.
she 'feels' quite good to use, too. I'm not super into her but she was way more fun to play that some of the other chars so far tbh

I guess not. Sucks. Capcom used to make awesome announcements at Comic-Con. Now their panels just consist of giving previews of upcoming merchandise. Hopefully we'll get something cool at the Street Fighter panel Saturday.
The Street Fighter V panel is this Saturday.

Capcom knows the US is already thirsty for SFV, so no character reveal for us (probably)...
there was a world of capcom panel w/ sfv + matt dahlgren slated. I couldn't get in since it was at capacity. nothing has been reported/circulated, so I'm not sure what mr. deezie talked about. my best guess going into it was some capcom fighters network stuff maybe? matt is the e-sports/CPT guy
the saturday panel might be packed too, man. I was waiting like 30 minutes each time in line despite there being like 8 or 9 setups. it was one of the most packed areas at the whole event based on what I saw, actually.
hopefully they convert some of those umbrella corps setups into SFV ones lmao

nowhere... and it's actually Sean's Grandfather that's the Jiu Jitsu master.... Sean is a self taught martial artist if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure about that KOF13 comparaison, but at least it doesn't feel like SF4, thank god.
Feels more like SF3 to me. But I haven't played KOF13 all that much.

not feeling that at all either, doesn't have the speed, hops, huge damage combos, high execution, etc
Based Cody, the greatest character ever to grace SF.
It needs way more combos and crazy stick movements.
Don't see that at all.

People argue that since all the returning characters are in Alpha the game is Alpha 4 (Ignoring that all characters in the series at that point ended up in Alpha aside from SF1 rejects and Movie only characters), so using the same logic here makes sense.

Why are we assuming it's 4 weeks and why are we assuming its Dhalsim?

Gief and 'Sim both appeared in various fighting games together; they were in XvSF and MSHvSF for example (although in the case of those games they were the only 2 SF2 characters at the time that got a new sprite made for them).
Many believe you can't have one without the other, and are about as adamant at it as some people are about there being an actual fucking pattern to the teases and how Ono and Capcom are revealing stuff for the game.
I'm only mentioning 'Sim as a defeatist tactic, all things considered though it may just be that Gouki/Akuma is the last SF veteran.
Also we have had 2 reveales per month; we may not get a reveal during NYCC, and it's already the first week of October over and they may not reveal another character until the next month, November...which is in 4 weeks' time :V

Their style of play is different, and I'd be interested to see what they could do with Necro if he were in SF5. They really made Birdie interesting so I'd like to see what cool stuff they could do with the rest of the cast.

I understand the argument for Dhalsim, but my question was more "Did I miss something?" than doubting him. Honestly with the Siliconera "leak" plugged I say all bets are off but there's certainly a possibility.
Anyway we'll see what happens, if nothing else they've done a good job surprising us and keeping us on our toes when stuff doesn't leak a head of time. Dhalsim isn't high on my list but he's a solid character, regardless I'm hoping for a reveal tomorrow.

They said they'd be included and playable. That would make them wrong unless DLC counts as being included.
