If anything, I find the lack of accountability and dismissiveness of her actions in TFoR to be more uncomfortable.

It had the opposite effect on me.

What was most uncomfortable to me was how hypocritical all the characters in Kilo-Five Trilogy behaved. They were all so focused on Halsey's evil while they/(the narrative) were completely oblivious to their own moral short comings.

I'll say I am really enjoying the current Lore output and think it is much more nuanced.

Same here. I thoroughly enjoyed playing 'Halo: CE' when it came out on the original Xbox, but reading 'The Fall of Reach' afterward was what truly made me fall in love with the Halo Universe and it's characters and stay invested in the series as it continued.

Yours if you expect a faithful adaptation. I'd love to be wrong and for it to turn out great, but it's simply improbable.
