Sideswipe, Wheeljack, and Prime were my favorites as a kid.
Well, my real favorites were the Insecticons and Constructicons, but, yeah

+1 for Sideswipe. This just makes me want to replay Rising and Bayonetta 2 really badly.
Yea cause Sideswipe is the closest to a DMC like character, his L1/LB can teleport up to an enemy or out of danger, plus his swords.
Team Optimus over here though, this is Transformers!
Sideswipe is my dude, but for the endgame, I had to pick Optimus. I mean, how can you not
I wish it was possible to make multiple profiles. I know I won't always want to play the game with Magnus/Prime enemy encounters and damage values, but if I go back to the lower difficulties, they're too easy because all of my equipment and characters are overleveled.
Bumble Bee user here, gotta love that Tatsu
If this had the crazy setpieces that Rising had, I'd be dead from hype
Sideswipe is my boy, but I don't have any high level dual blades yet so I've gone Prime for the rest due to dat story feel.
Lyrics kicking in/layered boss-battle music would have put me into a hype coma.
Prime can use dual blades too, and I got really good flame and cryo early, so Swipe got the flames, and Prime got the ice
How do you do reversals exactly? I bought the perk (it's on, according to the move list) and tried holding square right after a focus but nothing happens or I just charge my hammer like usual. Also tried triangle, L2 and just tapping them. Nothing.
Sideswipe is fantastic. I only wish I had a pair of twin swords that were still viable later in the game. I liked associating each of my 'bots with a distinct weapon so I ended up using him less when I didn't run into a decent set.

Its definitely holding the button, but the timeframe to execute it after reaching focus is very short. It isn't a just-frame input or anything, but the window is smaller than you might expect.
You gotta hold X,Y or RB the moment you hit the dodge button.
Spoilers for the campaign
I got pretty fucking hype at the final battle, where Megatron and Prime are locking horns and talking SO MUCH SHIT while that hype soundtrack is playing. Especially since while that was happening, Megatron threw like 5 projectiles, and I dodged them all in a goddamn row. AHHHHHH
Plan on picking this up soon, pretty sure this question has been asked before but I haven't seen it..Xbone or Ps4?

Ah yeah, but Sideswipe without, yknow, all dat swipin' doesn't feel right. My high levels are some burn blade glove things and a singular sword.
I was using Sideswipe without dual blades but with DA DRILLZ while they were viable (B rank) for Gurren Lagann'ing though B)
Gawwwd that was awesome
It wasn't as highly produced as Rising's end boss, but I got the same feeling. Just ALL THIS HYPE
I guess that's by virtue of him being a ranged specialist in a game where melee is so damn fun, but still, he had some of the best dialogue and I'm glad he got in because he was one of my favorites from the show. Plus that sweet vehicle mode.feels like everyone is getting love except for wheeljack![]()

Do skills and T.E.C.H stack? So if have a weapon with an atk+4 and atk+3 is it just going to take the atk+4 or do I have a eapon with an atk+7? This also applies to T.E.C.H?
also, what's with the T.E.C.H in general? I failed a 10k gamble and ended up with an amazing +50% to rare weapon drops and +2 to dodge frames. But it was a failure and yet when I hit the orange, I'm sometimes given crap.
It's random as fuck, but I've had better luck with hits than misses.
On the Game Informer podcast they said this game was more complicated and more difficult than Bayonetta.
How close is that to the conensus opinion?

This song is hype as hell. That moment when you trigger the end just as this part of the song kicks in and your're mashing that shit to save the world HYPE HYPE HYPE
This song is hype as hell.
I have this game ordered on Amazon but keep waffling on it because I'm still addicted to MGSV/MGO3, yet I have Super Mario Maker unopened, and Devastation and Wooly World on the way. Too much of a good thing.
This song helped me recommit to my Amazon order. That, and the amazing look of cel-shaded Devastator. That has to be among the cooler-looking Platinum bosses.
For the first playthrough, I'm thinking I'll stick to Optimus Prime and focus on optimizing him. Unless you recommend otherwise.
That's tempting (I've played Bayonetta 2 and Metal Gear Rising like 1,000 times, so I like fast characters), but I almost wonder if I should start with a slower character so it doesn't seem like a downgrade when I go to other characters, lol.I think Bumblebee is the easiest to play because he's the fastest in terms of movement and moveset. It's basically like you are Bayonetta in the game with him.
