It was all about the Toy Delorean. That thing was invincible, and you could do a million barrel rolls with it.

Yeah, the game has lots of local multiplayer configurations. 4 player splitscreen with bots, with options of 1v1 to 4v4, bot difficulty settings. Different style of splitscreens selectable if you don't have an even number of players etc.

You can get a lot out of it without even going online if you have friends to play with locally.

Amazing, I posted this exact thing on reddit months ago that it would be amazing to see famous cars in game including the delorean!

Imagine Knight rider, the cars from Mad Max, Herbie the Love Bug! The Dukes of hazard car, the Batmobile, it can be amazing, and I'm really glad they started with the delorean

I find it hard to believe that online multiplayer can beat the glorious shitstorm of cursing and laughing that is splitscreen multiplayer. Difficult to do often though

Local MP with friends is always top tier, though it can sometimes be matched by playing local splitscreen versus online players.

Unfortunately, for licensing reasons, you can't customize the car and its related items are exclusive to it (boost, wheels, etc.). You can adjust the blue/orange accent color used by the Delorean but that's it.
