Assuming it's like last year - you play the matches and also get the characters as playable on their own outside of that mode.

We knew that though. The gameplay from last year was a lot better than it had been in years. Maybe the best in a NA Yukes game. Glad they stuck with it.
Needless to say, if you didn't like last year's gameplay you should not pick up this game.

I liked the gameplay more than I did in the WWE 14 one.
God this just reminds me of myself, and how I continue to watch WWE even knowing most of it at a base level pretty shit.

Maybe that's how I need to start thinking of WWE as a whole. Non matter how stupid, still pretty fun in the end.

I thought the gameplay in WWE 2K15 was a real regression and the frustrating thing was that you could turn off/down the "improvements" in the main menu and yet the default settings were only available in MyCareer (and probably the Showcase mode too, traded the game in so quickly I never checked).

They should just go back to HCTP for gameplay and just add a few more touches and I'd be happy.

What I missed the most was when HCTP season mode had those promo packages before a major event. God they need to bring those back.

They were pretty much identical last time out at 1080p.
I had the most amazing glitch in WWE2K15, seemingly based on low drive space (The damned game had a 2+ GB "temp" folder it never deleted and only kept adding to, then got real pissy when it had no more space). I got the no ropes/crowd T-pose in replays that was popular at launch along with buggy replays in general where a few frames of animation looped. But my favorite part was whenever I would hit a finisher, the middle of the ring would shoot flames like Kane was going to come pull somebody down. Every single time until the game just crashed because it ate all of the space on my OS drive.
Sometimes the game can be real fun, even if it's pretty damn bad.
That actually just happened to everyone in the PC version at first. Can't remember what caused it, but all the videos coming out of it were hilarious
I saw a ton of the replay glitch but don't remember the Kane fire one. It was the only thing in a dozen years that made finishers exciting in this god damned series. Normally somebody just turns the vacuum cleaner on in the other room to celebrate a special move.
