To be honest, I've never tried wearing a fedora. I think I'd look good in one. Maybe.

Looks guys you just haven't gone to a proper hatter to get a good looking, proper fitting fedora. Once you do you'll see that you can get a good hat that anyone can pull off with any outfit. I was born with a larger than normal cranial size, mostly due to my superior intellect (i.e. I'm a stout atheist and only play games on my PC at 60 fps) so finding a hatter who knew what he is doing was essential. After work I'm going to pick up my newest custom order from the shop, black with white pinstripes and red accents. He asked for money down for the preorder, but I reminded him about my efforts to demean those who preorder video games as well as my sway within the MRA community who are voracious fedora wearers, and he quickly recanted his position.
