It's annoying that people suddenly use the "PC card" whenever they feel a disturbance in their "White Force". They've been so conditioned to a White, male dominated world that when something seems "out of place" it sticks out like a sore thumb.
It's not PC dictating this, it's reality. Reality that the world is comprised of different races, variety, which SW has always been about. Also, wasn't Finn's original concept art white? It's not PC if they cast Boyega. Maybe Boyega was just the best damn guy for that role(which everything I've seen so far, the dude's totally into it) and it doesn't matter WHAT COLOR a person is, if they are the best choice, they deserve the role! I think that's how a lot of roles should be written, without race in mind(unless you are trying to make a point regarding race within the story, like something set int he Civil Rights era or such). Let the casting be open to ALL willing to try their hand and whom ever blows the people at casting away, gets the role. It should be the best man/woman for the job, not the best White man for the job(I feel the same regarding many other things, including video games). Let people stand on their own merits, not be judged based on gender or skin color. If they don't land the job, let it be because they are unqualified, not because of prejudice.
