As soon as it hits 9 and the servers go live you'll probably be hit with the content update patch for 9 gigs. Though I'm pretty sure early owners were able to get the patches already since the game only requires the disc to be put in once and it'll say this requires an update. Because I've definitely seen guys who bought the disc early already playing multi-player in NA. The total size with the patch should be about 55 something gigs.
Yeah, watching streamers save up for gold packs and getting fuck all from them seems the balance isn't quite there. I may buy a few to support hcs, but I don't expect to unlock much of worth.
I'm watching a halo 5 stream on twitch right now in my living room. It looks really fucking good! It must run at 60 frames per second. That said, the part of the campaign that the person is playing is full of the same enemies from Halo 4 that I hated. I also don't really care for the architecture of the level that they're playing in right now. It's more of that clean metallic grey where everything looks too clean and there's not a ton of color other than shades of blue and grey.

Oh hey, for someone who doesn't have the time at the moment to read the whole thread, what's the story with the launch day patch? My game says it's 54.8 gigs. Does that include the patch, or has it not yet been deployed? I'm in the US if it matters. If it's not out yet, will my box grab it if I leave it on, or does it need a restart to see it?
You need to wait until it's actually out. Only then it will download the full license for Fall of Reach.

You can unlock the armors that are tied to achievements from MCC in REQ Packs, including FOTUS. The only thing I know for sure is temporarily exclusive is the Unicorn emblem that comes with the Halo console.
I did the same as you and checked my usage. I only deleted that file when I was certain it never downloaded. I wouldn't delete anything now but there's a good chance the latest update is the only thing you downloaded.

Watch the cutscenes, the misions are boring.

Warzone, though about to move onto Arena. BR and pistol battles are hard; changing from Helljumper to Bumper Jumper has helped a little, but controls are still tricky.
