I just did my 10 arena matches for my skill rank placement. I got Gold 1. That means I suck doesn't it haha?
Warzone seems kind of fun, but i keep getting the same map every single damn time so Im done with it for now. I think its called Apex 7 or something? Man nothing more frustrating than single handedly destroying a boss basically and someone comes in and takes the points from you. Booooo

I played MP for about 4 hours last night.
Initial thoughts: Very very good multiplayer. I'd like to say the best in the series.
Took a little while to get the controls figured out, I kept thrusting when I wanted to melee
Getting into matches has been superb, taking very little time at all.
I couldn't find a way to see what my friends were playing (Campaign or MP Playlist) and who they were teamed up with in the game. Does it exist?

I'm only a few missions in but so far this is nowhere near as bad as Destiny levels of story telling.
54.8GB. No difference between the two in load times since disc version is installed to HDD as well.

So, kind of disappointed. Thought Frankie had said they would try to integrate 5 into the MCC, so that the digital copy of H5 had its own tab in the MCC menu.

Embrace the future! Wasting resources on BTB maps is a mistake, and if they do have planned BTB maps, you guys realize it'll be 2-3 maps tops? Warzone is where the money is. Arena is where the pro play is.
BTB is the ugly child.
He never said that, He said it would be a neat idea and would look if this even possible.
And with knowing how buggy the whole MCC was I think they scrapped that really fast.

Would be cool to do. Would be cool also if somehow Reach could too when it becomes available via BC. Course that one I figure is probably impossible. Would be cool if they found a way though.
So I am on the edge with this game and I don't really know if I should buy it.

I liked the gunplay but levels were too small and linear, vehicle missions were boring and nothing like in Halo 3 and Reach. Weapons were disappearing in campaign really fast and you couldn't plan your strategy like in previous titles. AI was also worse then in Reach and I didn't liked that "in your face" art design with overdone light shafts and super busy architecture.
Is there someone who didn't liked Halo 4 too much and can say if Halo 5 is the same?

Honestly even though one of the missions with no action has a funny ass grunt, I'd probably rather those levels have not been there. Probably my only real complaint about the campaign to be honest.
Just wait until you get Scoped ARs, they are super strong.
I wonder what the first weekend playlist will be, did they announce anything yet? Snipers? Duals?
Griffball will probably come with the forge update.

On Mission 14 and think the story so far is great! And unlike Halo 4 I am not completely confused.

I haven't gotten any so far. Guess I'll save my points and always buy the gold packs to give myself a better chance at the good stuff.
I really like the exploration areas they give you as missions. The ratio of Chief and Locke is
a bummer. Though, I really liked Osiris' missions and the characters themselves, it's kinda lame that we didn't spend as much time with the Chief.
Campaign was awesome, though. Prometheans are much better to fight, and the Hunters are a bigger challenge and that's great to explore the newer mechanics with. And I think 343i have nailed down boss fights that work great with the gameplay and fit perfectly well with the narrative, unlike say, Tartarus. Only downside, besides the above is
the cliffhanger!

Hmm...can't find a warzone match. I'm solo matchmaking.
It's pretty bad. Masked by beautiful looking cutscenes which Destiny didn't have.
They're real bad on Breakout.

Overnight I went from 75% to 93%.
Part of that is my shit slow broadband, but i took my X1 over to a friend's just to download everything last week... And of course had to redownload it all.
I like everything better about the X1 than my PS4 except for that shit. Their updates/installs are so amazingly awful, and there has been no progress in fixing it.

The literal "Halo 5: Guardians" title absent from the game disc will irk me to no end lol. Feels like I picked up some bootleg CD from the nearest street vendor. What the hell is this.

Took a friend and I about 6 hours to beat the game on Heroic Co-op last night. Probably coulda got it to like 5.5 if we didn't struggle a little bit on one of the bosses.

So just to clarify, digital owners that preloaded still need to get the patch right?
A buddy who preloaded didn't have to download anything and was playing at midnight. So I am not sure what to expect when I get home after work haha.
