Some really awesome artwork in there for sure. Really nice designs too.
Personally i am very curious about the improvements on the existing mechanics and elements. We've seen the much better looking and detailed character models for the protagonists and that one NPC he was talking to. It sure all looks a lot better than before, but what about the rest? Soon we'll know.

Expect FO4 to have old good console commands that allow you do some cheats like unlimited carry. Tho expect them also to disable achievements.

You can raise your carry weight with console commands so if you're on PC, you'll be able to do it as soon as you launch the game

It would be nice if there was a way to send your dog out to sell all your extra shit.
In any case, I don't remember ever having a serious issue with carrying weight in Fallout 3, because the fast travel system was so generous and there were even trading caravans patrolling the main routes in and out of major areas.

Heard other say the embargo ended on the 9th though not sure if that is accurate or not.
There is the strong back perk (Strength level 6) which has three ranks which, to the best of my recollection bestow 1) increases your inventory (carry weight), 2) let's you fast travel while over encumbered and 3) let's you run/sprint while over encumbered - at the cost of action points.Hope we get a mod to increase carry weight ASAP.

Just ordered the game at GMG. I'll save a few bucks ($46.80 with coupon code). Probably won't get the key until release day which means no pre-loading but thats ok. Release day is a day off from work for me so I'll have all day to download and play! Can't wait!

You know, that's not a bad idea. I was leaning towards PS4, but I'm bringing the Xbox to my parents place for Christmas. Not that I'm gonna sit and play Fallout instead of spending time with the family, but there's always lulls.
If the PS4 version ends up being significantly better, I'll get that though.
GMG is good at delivering keys early, but same time they are fully depended on publishers for key deliveries. Few days ago GMG tweeted out that keys go out moment they get batch of them and green light from Bethesda.
My sample size is tiny, but always gotten key few days before release from GMG.

I just had to ask Pete Hines about streaming of FO4, if Europeans etc. are forced to wait for US release time. They aren't, when game is out in your region you are free to stream it!

No need for VPN for me in the UK. Unlocks 00:01 10th Nov. For once UK (and all of Europe?) get treated well on a game release! Bravo Bethesda.
Yeah, Skyrim was the same IIRC. So when the game goes live in New Zealand, can VPN unlock early Monday morning my time, hopefully.

Yeah I think Saturday the 8th is the right time for the OT since a lot of people will be playing by early Monday. I fully expect to be playing the game Monday morning thanks to VPN to either Aus or NZ. Unless GMG screws me and doesn't release keys in time, but I doubt that will happen.

I thought the E3 demo was the most they were going to show.
Their marketing plan for this game has been perfect, they already know everyone is going to buy it, so they can announce it late, show a minimum amount of gameplay, and "let people discover it for themselves".
