I got a copy from buying a 980ti. It ran like crap at first, but after the first major patch to fix PC issues it ran like a dream for the entire game.

Not sure if I got lucky or what, but I got through it with no problem.

Here's a hint: you're using like the second most powerful GPU on the market. You can out-horsepower most issues.

Oh cool my gift for waiting three months is a bunch of games I already own and it sounds like I can't even gift extra copies

Thanks WB

I remember your launch day vid of the Batmobile just chugging your system like crazy, optimized my ass

its basically the same as far as performance goes

I dont know what they did beyond adding DLC support, but it virtually feels like nothing at all.

All Premium users not only got zero compensations (probably they already own all Batman games), but also they can't play any DLCs despite having the season pass. Great job, WB, great job.

Just tried this for ten minutes on a 4670K+280X.

Eventually, it started stuttering again, the action stopping for full seconds at a time. This patch has done nothing but enable DLC.

Yeah.

Fuck WB.

Fuck Rocksteady.

And fuck their apologists.

How nice, I'll restart my game every 10 minutes.

I agree that they indeed are a bag of dicks, especially with MKX and BAK exemplifying the worst I have seen from PC ports. However, I don't recall issues with Mad Max & Shadow of Mordor, which I intend to eventually buy. This is a great example of why preorders should be avoided. I knew the bad history of HVS, but I still wanted MKX since I am a huge MK fan, so I disregarded my own rule for the first time in years and went for it, and I was hilariously burned for it, but that serves me right for putting faith in a company doing the right thing for PC gamers and their own product / reputation.

All the situation did is make me even more determined to avoid those situations

Agreed. And it really seems to come down to whether the developer decides (or has it decided for them) to give the PC edition to a third party. That's when shit like Mortal Kombat X and Arkham Knight happen. When the original developer, like Avalanche or Rockstar with Max Payne 3 and GTA V, takes their time and does the PC port themselves these things don't seem to happen.

wait wait wait, people who bought AK get the rest of the arkham series free

but what about the people who already own them? if there's nothing for them that's a kick in the teeth.

Because Avalanche and Monolith are both PC developers also they made both in house and WB was just the publisher those PC ports are great because they made PC games for a very long time.

I was able to play and beat the game without many problems when it was released with everything "maxed" except the Gameworks things, turned off. Yeah, I had some freezes and shit, but was playable.

Now, with the same exact settings is a fucking slideshow.

Hi everyone! I’m going to jump in and help out Yorick as a second pair of eyes and ears for you all.

With the game now available for sale, I wanted to provide a status update since the release of the September patch.

As we confirmed earlier today, the PC version of the game now supports all add-on content that has been released thus far for console. The configurations for this content are being updated now and we expect everything to be available in the next few hours. We’ll confirm when this process is completed.

We are still working with our GPU partners to add full support for SLI and Crossfire. In addition, we are working with these partners to address stability issues on certain cards related to the latest drivers.

After extensive testing, a hard drive paging issue with some GPUs on Windows 7 may occur after extended gameplay sessions. If you encounter this, simply re-launching the game will resolve the issue.

For Windows 10 users, we’ve found that having at least 12GB of system RAM on a PC allows the game to operate without paging and provides a smoother gameplay experience.
