This was never a Christian country. We aren't only made up of Christians.
Its a vast variety makeup. You want prosperity today, you HAVE to be balanced and focus more on civil liberty equality instead of trying to convert the US to Christianity through policy.
I say this as a christian myself.
You want more Christians? Set the example of love and not divisiveness. Work towards building a more family accommodating country (daycare credit, or corporate daycares, a stronger system to help facilitate unwanted pregnancies and adoptions etc). Right now they are spouting rhetoric with no foundation plan. Its like going to a country, killing the dictator, tipping your hat and walking out leaving people with, "Now what??".

Don't even get me started on how he completely glossed over the unfathomable budget deficit still created during his governorship. Deplorable. As a resident of LA, I'd tell Jindal to kindly fuck off.
