So Rampage Jackson streams Halo......http://www.twitch.tv/rampageishuman
The end of mission 5 on Legendary is something else. Nothing short of good luck and an incredible amount of patience is going to get me past this.
Agreed. I'm getting dumped in to US servers ffs. It's like 343 just dont want people to have the best experience possible. Josh Holmes posted on slaent that they consider everything over 100ms to be unacceptable. Yet I have been matched in games higher than that I am sure. More 343 bullshit. There should be, I'd never want to play someone on the other side of the planet
So I posted this in the Elite controller OT and thought I would post it here as well since that thread has been pretty quiet lately and I'm sure a lot of you purchased an Elite controller to play Halo with. So here it is:
If anyone is like myself and has very long play sessions, and using all 4 paddles is starting to strain your wrists or perhaps you cant get used to the new way of gripping the controller, i just tried something that feels very comfortable and works well for me and hopefully you as well.
I took off the two longer paddles and only kept the two smaller paddles. I put one on bottom right, and the other top left. It feels amazing and very natural this way. I've only been playing Halo so I mapped the bottom right paddle for jumping, and the top left paddle for reloading. I hope this helps!
I assume they're going to balance Warzone a bit somehow but I don't know how. It ends up just being who has the tank cards.
for the love of god, I used to not stink this much.
Are there any tips for MP for someone who hasn't played halo since halo 4 came out?

You have no idea.
What weapons did you use? What did you order your squad to do? I meed to finish my legendary playthroughJust beat that thanks to a tip I read in here:you can shoot him in the face. I thought you could only shoot him in the back and he refused to turn his back on me. Once I started going for the face I killed him after only a few deaths.
Whenever I play co-op with my friends, it's always a rush to pick Buck.
No doubt, he is the only likable character on Osiris after all.

ONI warthog beats everything

Pretty sure me and the gunner survived two scorpion hits in that clip.

Also can someone explain how this card system works, Ive unlocked countless needlers, saws and ghosts, but once I dismiss the opening page, these cards are never to be seen again....
I recall getting a few "random weapon" cards, but where is everything, and how does this work?
So the cards you mentioned are used entirely in the Warzone side of multiplayer. Think of them like playing cards. You start a game, and build up levels. Once you have enough levels, you can call in a card. So a needler only costs 2 or 3, whereas a more powerful gun or vehicle might cost 5 +. You're getting doubles of things because once you play a card, it's gone forever.
If you go to your spartan hub, look under 'Requisitions' for 'collection' and you can see what you have so far.

Edit: Glass got ya covered.
Loving using the Elite in Halo 5. I had to wreck and relearn some muscle memory but after a day of playing I'm getting quite used to it. My current elite setup is:
Default Halo 5 control scheme
Top Left Paddle: thrust
Bottom Left Paddle: weapon swap
Top Right Paddle: jump
I left reload on X and swapped the longer Bottom Right Paddle with the the shorter top one and left the top one in the carrying case. The way my hands rest on the controller, it's better to have the longer paddle in the top right slot. Feels really natural that way, for me anyway.
It really is.Ugh, Plaza is so atrocious.
I agree, I thought Osiris was full of decent-to-good characters in their own right. Besides Buck, I especially liked ValeToooootal bullshit.

I love you photomerge

I think it is confusing when you play it for the first time, but it is growing up to me.It really is.
Yes. I agree. Osiris is pretty interesting team. A shame Tanaka is underdeveloped. Her line at the beginning of Battle Of Sunaion is so cliché and out of place.I agree, I thought Osiris was full of decent-to-good characters in their own right. Besides Buck, I especially liked Valefor all of the interesting Sangheili background she gives you later in the game. Also, Cortana provides some cool details about Osiris when she's taunting the team in the final mission.
Maybe I need to play it more then. I've only had a few matches on it. It just seems like a bizarre mishmash of structures and entrances. It almost feels like a playground for clambering.I think it is confusing when you play it for the first time, but it is growing up to me.
Does it not explain how Chief finds Blue Tea?
Just kinda drops you in wtf. Only Halo book Ive read is Reach so I know these characters, no idea how they reunited.
Did I miss some book or show or comic?
Thats bullshit if so. Should really be in the game.

Well. There was a story in Escalation. But ONI just teamed them up for a mission. That's the story behind it there too.Does it not explain how Chief finds Blue Tea?

The aiming in this game is pissing me off. The Beta I was headshotting people like crazy. Now it feels way too "weighty" for lack of a better term and I'm having a hard time adjusting. I'm not liking multiplayer at all, which breaks my heart because I was a long time halo fan.
