Bethesda store added 5 vault 111 vault boy bobbleheads:

Not sure why, but I like old more. Most of the new ones are way too simple, also Vault-Tec in the front is badly written.

It would be reasonable to assume Elder Scrolls VI has already been in pre-production for a while.

Todd Howard said they started work on Fallout 4 as soon as Fallout 3 DLC was done in 2009, so they obviously have concurrent major projects in different stages.

Yep, and a few months after Skyrim shipped they moved all staff to their next project (which turned out to be Fallout 4): http://www.pcgamer.com/skyrim-team-to-move-on-to-bethesdas-next-major-project/

A few months after FO4 ships they will move everybody back to Elder Scrolls (they've already trademarked "REDGUARD" as a new title). However we're looking realistically at 2018 or later.

Companions being immortal is nice since the AI was so bad in 3, NV, and Skyrim. Two AI states, derp and charge. I still have nightmares of ED-E cranking up his music since he sees an enemy 3 floors above him.

My biggest gripe with Dogmeat in Fallout 3 is highlighted by this:

And I REALLY hope this isn't a thing on Fallout 4.

Now start with Elder Scrolls 6 already! Damn it, will this game even come out this gen?

Almost all recent Bethesda games released less than a year after the announcement. I am sure TES6 is already in development. They will probably announce it as they did Skyrim/Fallout 4 less than a year before release.

Skyrim came out three years after Fallout 3, so it might take a while. Probably November 2017.

But there's this perk called
"Insparational. You need 8 points in Charisma for it. The second rank makes you able to bring two companions along, instead of just one. Third rank makes your companions work cooperatively in battle and heal eachother.
Brilliant, is that confirmed? I thought Bethesda stated only one at a time but I'd really like two :)

Why there's no hype trailers or launch trailers of this game? I'm seriously thinking on upgrade my PC or buy a PS4 to play this but what I've seen so far has not convinced me yet to do so...

Bethesda don't do this. With Skyrim we got a trailer, some footage at E3, and then release. Same here. I like it, no hype cycle - this game will live or die by being good or bad.

We had New Vegas in between. I mean Bethesda could always hire Obsidian again for spin-off.

For FO4? Sure. But not for the new Elder Scrolls.

Oh sorry, don't know if that counts as a spoiler.

We have only seen the first rank of this perk. To the speculators credit, companion is singular throughout what we have seen in the perk chart so it's entirely possible you either can only have one companion or can unlock this throughout the game.

What???? Why they do that? Oh well. That's too bad for newbies to the franchise like me. Will wait for reviews and impressions then. Especially since Bethesda games have the reputation of being buggy af when they launch...

Would you prefer the standard dozen or so incremental, repetitive and obnoxious "PREORDER NOW TO GET BONUS DOGMEAT SKIN" prelaunch trailers?

Yes I know I'm creating a false dichotomy

Name one open world that hasn't released with bugs. Go on. One.

I agree. I also have found no new merch thats as good as the rarer stuff from fallout 3 and NV. I do have a pipboy preordered but i reckon my lunchbox edition of fallout 3 looks a bit cooler.

I know but even a 2 min spoiler-free trailer right now would not hurt anybody and would help to increase the hype IMO, especially for those who have interest on playing this but have never played a Fallout game before. But yeah this game is going to be ace anyways there's no doubt about it.

Uh I honestly can't think of one, you got me, hah. Just hoping this have minimum bugs to pull the switch then because I really want to play this game.

Spoons that you will be butchered over if you dare touch owned ones.

Seriously, I found the 'secret sauce' of Bethesda games to be the soundtracks of both franchises.
Getting killed over a spoon sounds about right for a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Anyway, they did away with that in Skyrim and I imagine Fallout 4 will be an evolution of that.

No game has released without some kind of bug, but Bethesda are "known" for having quite a few in their games in the past. Considering everything going on under the hood, it's understandable and doesn't bother me. Just sayin'.

If I were to pick a near bugless open world game I'd say... MGSV?

Well if the add the Rock-it Launcher back into the game than killing things with spoons will be possible.

Honestly Bethesda have had about as many bugs as other games have had. People just like to give Bethesda shit because they are big dogs who had some unfortunate GIF worthy issues on their games from previous consoles.

Also MGSV is in no way doing as much as any of these rpgs or GTA's are doing. Graphically it puts them to shame, but that's not hard when your version of Afghanistan and Africa look like a ghost town.

so the ingame fonts and menus arent final right ?

I think it's safe to assume they are final to be honest. I don't like them either but I am hoping for a fast mod to sort it out. The UI and the way the dialogue choices are presented is the only thing that we've seen of the game I dislike. I want a mod that exposes the dialogue options in a list format like previous games that aren't vague. I hope the dialogue options aren't going to be the Bioware/Mass Effect issue where the dialogue option is vague and what your character says is quite different and not necessarily exactly what you might have wanted after hearing that + the reaction of NPC. Bethesda seems to have taken a liking to minimal design with the UI, we saw that in Skyrim and I think we're seeing it here again with Fallout.

I just hope Fallout 4 doesn't have an atrocious inventory UI like Skyrim did for PC.

I was just highlighting the likely reason the poster was concerned, hence the "known" in quotations.

You said name one open world game without bugs. I did. ;)

Judging by that one gameplay trailer that was released, that (or something like it) is in the game.
Oh that's right I forgot about that although they are calling it the Junk Jet in this game.
