yeah it's as if they inserted more detail there than in most other places in the game.

What else is there besides Fraps and MSI Afterburner to use for screenshots? There's Steam too, I guess, but that doesn't play well with ReShade etc. most of the time. Having just performed a clean install of Windows 10 (coming from 7), I'm wondering if I should try something else.

Stick to MSI Afterburner. Works wonders.

Stating the obvious likely, but reshade also takes proper screenshots No need for fraps/afterburner if you use reshade. Downside is tho they're placed in the .exe's folder.

Man Dark Souls continues to be the fuckin coolest. The DS1 aesthetic is something that I feel is really missed in DS2. DS2 has its own look and style that I also enjoy, but DS1 just feels so oppressive and dark. I've been seeing a lot more of Dark Souls lately and it just feels so much more like a real and bleak world. I love it.

Seems to have some drawbacks like NPCs fading out right in front of you (mentioned in the video description).
