I bought couple golds, will likely get a few more. I figure I'd easily pay 15 for map dlc, we are getting that free, sivwhat the hell plus, I like watching halo tournies and supporting the hcs fun feels good.

Because this is halo 5 and due to finally having proper weapon balancing, it's to be found on the map where it belongs.

The era when halo was almost nothing but BRs all day all the time as if no other weapons existed, that was a dark time. It's over now.

I wouldnt read too much into it, Sanghelios is where Halo 5 ends and where I presume Halo 6 begins given how it is setup and how the universe is changed at the end.

I wouldnt really say it outshoots it. If I pass by a BR ill replace my pistol with it and its definitely better. It's just that the pistol is still totally competent and can keep up with an enemy BR if the player plays the situation right.
 
Why can't I get the hit registration and feel of the DMR on the pistol. I love the way the DMR fires and just feels as you get shots off. Enjoy it much more than the pistol or BR. Hipfiring a DMR and getting a headshot or perrrfecccct just feels good. Maybe it's all in my mind though. I've loved the DMR since Reach, single shot rifle etc. That love for them carried into Destiny where I prefer scout most of of the time.

Funny, I mentioned earlier just the opposite. I've been a die hard dmr user since it premiered in reach but I can't get a handle on it in 5. Really struggling to land shots that I hit consistently with a br or the magnum. Funny enough, I preferred the dmr to both in the beta but something changed that just screws me up with the dmr since then

Same thing for me, I was owning hard with the dmr back in beta but now for some reason I have trouble with it and do much better with the magnum

It might just be because DMR's are more rare than BR's in this game but I'm much preferring the BR so far. DMR just feels like it fires too slow for me.

Just finished the campaign, and good god that was a huge disappointment.

The sluggish story, boring characters, useless squad AI, half baked squad mechanics, repetitive encounters, those awful, awful re6-tier boss fights.

This is such a confusing misstep for the series. Hell, I even dug the hell out of Halo 4, and was very much looking forward to 343 expanding on that. What the hell happened over there?

Arena isn't quite grabbing me either. Mechanically, the series has never been better, but with the missing modes, broken aiming, slow respawn times, and a hilariously small amount of maps, I can't imagine sticking with it for much longer.

I was really looking forward to this too.

I don't think they changed anything though. Still same ttk, the new scope works much better than the acog they had (in my opinion). I don't know, I finally got to use DMR on Coliseum and just loved it. I can't wait till I unlock the gun for Warzone.

Well they did buff the magnum substantially, which is why you're probably doing much better with magnum. I also think DMR rarity on maps makes it harder to use as you get more familiar with the plentiful BR's and obviously starting with magnum.

I can't wait till I unlock DMR for Warzone though. The larger scope zoom means naturally it'll be in limited play compared to BR. DMR is almost a power weapon level gun in this game, which is what people really wanted it to become. In the hands of a skilled player, can probably easily lock down large parts of the map with its increased zoom.

Luckily I'm finding the MP fun but I agree I can't see me sticking with it for long unless 343 starts to churn out the content. The foundation is there so I'm hopeful they have big plans for the game.

That would be great. Some really distinct game modes with drastically different feel like Breakout are always fun. A warzone variant where one team has to defend a roaming boss against an attacking team would be fun too.
 
Just noticed. I have helioskrill through MCC. But in collection it shows I don't have it. Please tell me I won't me up getting it again, and this is a bug.
 
Just beat the campaign on legendary. Took just a bit over 9 hours while finding some skulls and intel.

That was incredible. Halo 6 hype already starting.
 
I was on a streak this week, consistantly had a high kd, then today i got my ass kicked super hard back down to silver 3, I dont know what happened.
 
Made it to platinum 1 after my first ten matches of swat.

I really like how swat feels. The maps have some nice site I lines. I hope arena continues to get some love over the lifecycle of this game because I'm really enjoying it.
