People are exaggerating how bad the graphic models looks , they look like MGSV....an we all know MGSV has great models....

Yay ok cool. Franchise seems to be praised a lot. I have to play this and clearly the graphics even if not that good won't be a big issue for me if fps are stable and no tearing (the two things that bothers me the most... details, effects and full hd are good but not necessary).

I live in the North East of England. I don't need to role play shit for this part. But I agree people get hung up on the slightest thing.

Its gotta come to a cut off point where they're integrating story though. For all we know having a spouse and child is pivotal to the story. At which point wanting to roleplay as a single person kinda breaks the story.

This was the exact thing I was worried about since they added voice acting. It just automatically lessens the choice of available dialogue choices you have since they likely won't voice like 6 different choices.

Honestly I have no issue with RPing within a predefined character. Like valid point you cannot create whatever character you want when they are voiced and have a set of predefined characteristics and backstory. That's a relatively legitimate complaint. But you can still RP within the role provided. It's just a narrower spectrum.

You can RP in TW3 even though Geralt is a super well defined character. You get to choose how he reacts and handle hundreds of situations and deals with those people in his personal life based on your interpretation of how you see his character. You play within the role that is provided. Which is exactly what I intend to do here in FO4.

I'm not a girl, yet I still plan to play the wife first and will do so in a RPing way seeing how the game operates in the opening and deciding what kind of character within game I will be playing as.

I get it but I feel don't go half way either roleplay a predefined character or make your own with no voice/voice options. There is no reason an Englishman couldn't be living in the US at the time. It doesn't really bother me but it seems like its been half-arsed.

If this is true.. a resounding meh from me. My BF introduced me to one of the old games, and I was sort of excited to see what a new title would be like. I love dialogue heavy exploration games where you can use wit to get out of trouble. It sounds like this won't be it, unless I'm misunderstanding.

I also really dislike that you're already set in a pre-determined character with a wife and child. I want to make my own. :c
 
I do see what people are getting at with the graphics honestly

But I'll wait to see what the PC version looks like before making my own opinion about the game.
 
Alpha Protocol had a similar dialogue "wheel", and I'd consider that one of my absolute favorite role playing experiences in gaming. It all comes down to what you are looking for, and what best serves your game. Obviously Fallout 4 is not going to try to be the next Planescape: Torment.

People keep Alpha Protocol to me since they know I love choice-based games. How is it at that stuff?

People often exaggerate how bad Morrowind looks these days as well. Just look at this character... not all that different!

lol at the guy being banned some pages ago. How did he say what he said with a straight face. Theres opinions, but come on, saying bethesda's games are nobel prize in literature compared to CDPR and Obsidian... holy shit.

The gameplay could be excellent but i'm still waiting on one or two major patches before I buy because it's gonna be a glitchy mess on release like all other Beth games.
 
I was very interested in this game but after watching those leaked vids and the fact that there's no new official gameplay or hype trailers... ehhh not that interested anymore. Sill looking forward for reviews and impressions though.
