Okay this looks amazing, the indoor parts are giving me Bioshock Infinite vibes all over the place with the patriotic museum motif.

Gunplay looks good, but those videos are getting hard to watch with the phone cam (after the mr hippy robot video).

It's all about finding the right merchant. There are only a handful in NV. Not a flaw at all in my book. Not enough ammo would be irritating as fuck.

They said even they don't know. Yes, they are selling a pass that has zero info or idea what it should be.
ALL future DLC, nothing announced as to what the DLC is though, but we know that the season pass will get you all of it.
That was basically whole sales pitch they made.
"Here is 30 $/ Season Pass that will give you DLC for FO4 in future. We have no clue what that DLC will be, but with Season Pass you can get it some day!"

I did the same last week, except my friend really wants the Pip boy and missed out, so he paid for my order and I changed the shipping to his house.

I've seen one of the gameplay videos and the gunplay looks, sounds, and (looks like) it feels better than anything in 3 or new Vegas. Those were pea shooters in comparison
Well at least they are honest.
To be fair, most Bethesda DLC is pretty decent.

3rd person 90% of the time, 1st person the 10% where I'm in a particularly difficult firefight and need the extra field of view.
I usually switch back and forth, but mainly stay in first person.

Too much jank in 3rd person to play that way, in 3 and NV at least.
Always first person. The way your character slides around the world annoys me too much haha

With the videos I've seen, I find the objective compass at the bottom of the screen really distracting. Scrolling every time you move slightly.
I know, I don't have it ordered yet but looking towards what they announce. FO4's Season Pass just feels rushed and something they just put out there because having one is industry standard almost, and people start asking for it early on I guess.
First person. I switch to 3rd person half the time to look at my clothing.

Why do the people leaking record off their TVs? Both the Xbox One and PS4 can do built-in game capture, and any modern PC can do it too.

Yeah, I was hoping they'd do a Skyrim and move the compass to top middle, moved FO3/NV compass to this area and imo it's heaps better. Will wait for Gopher to release his FO4 hud mods for this and transparency.

Not watching any videos, the E3 stuff was enough and neither watching the map. It takes a lot of strength from me to not check it out though. Whatever the case, i hope Bethesda was speaking the truth and that it's about the same as Skyrim. Cause i am very fine with that world size.

That's not really big. It looks the same size as FO3. Actually smaller. I thought it was suppose to be Skyrim sized?

Look at the streets for a slight sense of scale. Its definitely bigger than Fallout 3. Skyrim sized sounds good, though I'd always like bigger. I'd also like a new engine, better graphics, etc., but I'll take what I can get here.

Where do you get the notion that that's not a huge space, or that it's smaller than FO3's world? Check out some of the gameplay videos and leaks, man. This game looks pretty damn huge and dense to boot.
It's kind of hard to tell exactly how big it really is based on that. I'm trying to find screenshots that will better show scale.
The map grid for Fallout 3 was 17x17, Fallout 4 seems to have 27x27 - that's considerably larger and similar in size to Skyrim, assuming they all use the same grid size.

Well, if you watch the intro sequence leak, the distance traveled between the house in the starting neighborhood and the vault is represented by the distance between that little man and the vault door icons in the top left corner, roughly. That's about a grid's length, with the game being 27 by 27 grids, and with roughy 70% of that being solid ground. As far as I can tell based on that rough measurement, grid squares on the map represent about the same amount of space as they did in Fallout 3,, which would make this game substantially bigger.
