From what I have read, a potato. I don't actually watch(ed) the stream. Just checked if it's legit.

It's lagging hard here, constant buffering.
Just random combat at or near the starting area. Or even exploration. . .near the starting area. Too much of this leaked footage is of actually cool stuff that would be fun to discover on your own.

Most wouldn't complain, but MSI Afterburner is the most commonly used now from what I've seen. I alway just use fraps for a basic counter but some prefer to see what the the entire PC is doing too so..

I started replaying fallout 3 tonight and it is still great.
I am playing on xbox 360 even and still having a good time. All the PC version gave me was hours and hours of frustration trying to set up all the mods.

The PC version is a nightmare to mod and set up. I spent hours trying to get it right and it never worked. There are some impressive mods out there but the vanilla version is good too. Very nostalgic for me at this point.
Also going to be away from my pc for a long weekend.
I think the thing people forget about the map is that there is fast travel, but there is no horse, or car, or other rapid transit system. Even MGS5 and the Witcher had horses to ride. Everyone is on foot in fallout's world (which is kind of strange?) so it would make sense that cities and settlements would be closer together.

Last I heard, there are stealth perks. cmiiw.
This actually makes me happy. Hopefully modding is the same way. Complex enough that it takes some time to get the hang of it but awesome when you do.

I mean, it's not like it's an action game or anything. I know this is a dumb opinion but I kind of think the blurry output helps a little bit with the bad texturing and modeling?
At least its how i remember it and i'm happy with it, I guess.
PC version still has crash issues even without mods. I tried to reinstall without mods and was still getting random crash to desktops on windows 10.

I'm watching this PC stream and the textures frankly look just fine as far as I can tell. The Vault had a lot of moments where you could resolve a decent amount of detail to the player's surroundings.

i feel like i've seen so many links to streams but nothing about whether or not the game is actually good or not.
I don't think there is any question that the game will be good.
There have been some people that claim to have the game on gamefaqs and they had nothing but positive things to say as far as I can tell.

I think it's hard to say something like that with a big RPG like this, especially when there is so much to do. If you want to explore a bit away from the main quest, it takes even longer to make that judgement. Do you just base a review off the main quest? The side quests? Both? It'll take a while ya know?

As for people who have watched streams, I'm not sure anyone will think to test this but it is something I'm curious about, can you pick up items and place them however you want still? Or did they get rid of that? (I hope not. I loved placing things around my homes in Skyrim, Fallout 3, and New Vegas). I didn't see it being listed as one of the controls on the controller map shown so I'm worried. I mean it won't break the game for me but it would be a small disappointment.

I meant the opposite! 6:38 am... maybe I should go to sleep. Personally, I'm almost ready to declare the game my premature GOTY.
This probably won't be known until after release. Never trust random leakers to have an appropriate assessment of difficulty, that usually requires more players to come to a conclusion on it.
I've played for the last 4 hours, nonstop. Well 10 minutes to eat dinner. It sucks you in so hard. There is just so much to do.
Performance wise, the game runs great on the Xbox One.
Ah no worries, I'm in there with you. I already did declare it my GOTY, I'll just take it back if Bethesda really does ruin it. And I don't mean in the ways I expect they probably won't be good. And man if they ruin Fallout for me there is going to be a shitload of bitterness from me. But hell, I bought my PS4 way back when cause I already expected Fallout would not be on last gen and I figured I was going to want to play it when it came out.

Yea glad to finally see it does indeed have hair physics, also noticed cloth physics on a coat in some videos. Good stuff!
edit: that stream suck for me, a lot of skipping and pausing but its not using anywhere near my max internet speed.

True enough in most cases, but I was referring to the specific difficulty levels (hard, very hard, survival, etc). The concern people have is that higher levels will make enemies into bullet sponges like in past Bethesda games.
If this spongy scenario is actually the case, it would likely be very obvious the moment a player encountered an enemy, even in a random stream.
