What makes you believe that? Which was the last broken PC version Bethesda made?
Skyrim works like shit and its a fucking bugfest that can decide to broken the whole game at random becuase it did some stupid variable wrong, same with the CTD. And I have a new computer with a 970 that moves the witcher 3 perfectly at super high settings.
But its not about the game having or not 60fps (because I dont think my skyrim goes below that), its all the other problems the game has.
Why it wasnt shouted through the seven seas at the time like games in our days are after what happened with Watchdogs. Basically because the game was released on at a time before the watchdogs debacle existed. And because it seems, at least with their older games (lets see what happens with FO4, and who knows, maybe is a much less buggy game), that bethesda always has a pass with bugs, becuase its normal with them.
But of course, Skyrim on PS3 was even more broken, so its not about a parity thing here, just that bethesda does buggy games in general. Im pretty sure they made the PC version inhouse, if that is what some people are wondering.
I fail to see what is so funny. People tend to exaggerate so much. Nobody uses the word broken correctly. Just because it has bugs doesn't mean it is broken and unplayable. On the other hand some other companies games which are buggy as well get a free pass. I encountered far more bugs in the Witcher 3 than Skyrim.
There were bugs breaking some unimportant missions in the Witcher 3, not bugs that broke the whole game like Skyrim, or fucked up npcs, or animations, or missions, or dissapearing scenery, or multiple CTD at random just because, or infinite loading...
TW3 was super polished for a world so big, please, do not lie about the bugs. Its not opinions, there are fucking lists of the bugs everygame has, and the two are incomparable with each other.
And im playing with the unofficial patch that fixes lots of bugs Bethesda decided to leave when they finished updating.
CDPR is still fixing all the bugs people are encountering, even when they work with dlcs at the same time.
