If you're from GAME with a Pip-Boy and got a tracking number etc. then be aware they may well have instructed the courier to hold the parcel until Tuesday, that's what they did for the MGSV LE and I'd imagine it's a similar situation. Fingers crossed you get it tomorrow though :D

Oh no, you might be right.. I've only ordered the standard game but looking at the email it does say it will be processed for the release date. My copy of MGSV was the same but I picked it up from the depot the day it arrived there.
 
Is the cover reversible ?

If you don't have a tracking number (basically, if they sent it standard royal mail) you should be absolutely fine for tomorrow. Tracking number, then yeah they might hold it, but can probably pick it up like with MGS. Hopefully gets to you tomorrow though :)

I just double checked on the website. Royal Mail First Class. There's no stopping this hype train now.

Can depend where you live.
For me, usually the day before release it leaves from somewhere in either Scotland or Wales and gets delivered to Wigan.
Stays there overnight and then gets to me in Preston about tea time.

Depends where you live, if its near a big city/their warehouse, they will send it out the day before release. Now they handle their own deliveries they are pretty confident in getting it to you on a specific date.

Then didn't despatch The Handsome Collection till the night before (like 9pm) and it still arrived the next day.

That's awesome. I hated having to put 9 I to INT as a near requirement in 3 and NV
 
I wouldn't be surprised if the shops break street date here in Taiwan.

I tend to get a call to pick up my pre-order whenever they have it in stock, and 50-60% of the time that's a day or two before street date.

Yep, I was trying to get Endurance to 3 for Lifegiver, but had to settle with 2. I'll either try and find the bobblehead or just level it up one point (If I find that I need more health that is).

I don't plan on getting the Sniper perk but I plan to sneak around and snipe is what I mean. You can still be an effective sniper without that perk.

Thanks for the answers. Well, I live in the very middle of Wales, the middle of nowhere. Hopefully it gets to me by release day.

Is that true, I have used Amazon for most of this gen and I get new releases on launch day.

My Fallout 4 preorder has changed from 10th to the 12th, maybe they have not got enough copies to cover their preorders.

And that's why I just placed my digital preorder on psn. It looks like it will start downloading on the 9th to my ps4.

Hmm. That's unfortunate. Prime Amazon customers are pretty much guaranteed release day delivery. But even though I'm not a Prime member anymore I got Halo 5 on launch day. I guess it can be a bit hit and miss. Also their delivery dates can be misleading. I ordered a new controller and they said it would be delivered on Saturday but I got it today (Friday).

Not got my GMG Steam key yet! I'm in the UK.
 
Seeing how the levelling system works now (in that you can add to SPECIAL just through levelling up) the best way to min-max would be to just start with like 8-9 INT (depending on how many INT bobbleheads there are)?

Thinking about rolling this for my build. Focusing on science, speech and lockpicking while retaining strength for the carry perks and heavy weapons.

Fallout 3 had 1 for each SPECIAL and then a bunch for skills.

So I think starting with 9 is ok?
 
Do we know how many employees worked on Fallout 4? (source please) I'm curious. Skyrim had about 90-100 apparently, not that much compared to your average AAA game I think.

Realistically levelling probably slows down enough that you can "assume" there's a softish cap of 50+ for levelling, maybe 60.

As such, it's prob best not to take any more intel than you really need for perks, and aiming to hit all your target perks as early as possible, rather than maxxing int and hoping for fast level ups to catch you up.
