We use the chat feature. Basically someone will write "looking for 2 for arena" or whatever and people who are on say, "inv me!" and then post their GT

It's worked out really well every time I've used it, very easy way to get full Arena teams or even full/mostly full fireteams for Warzone.

So I created an account and then clicked on that link. It doesn't look like anyone is there? Am I not using it correctly?

make sure you've selected the HaloGAF channel, then the #general lobby as noted in the top left.

I can't find where to unlock assassination ? I know it's req pack but wich to choose ? Each time I choose one, I get vehicule and weapon I don't want. Only thing I care is assassination animation.

just keep getting Silvers. Better chance for cheaper cost than anything.

You ignored my other points about premade parties going in against solo and people quitting all the time. Overall, social will be a great playlist for the people that don't care about going pro (majority) and the ones that just want to play Halo. Bungie managed to have a pro scene and still keep everyone happy to a degree.

Well that's still going to happen in social. Difference is though, you can have Onyx and champion level players going against Bronze and Silver in social, with no way to change. Maybe parties should only match against parties?

Again, Ranks are not about 'going pro'. They're about gauging your own skill and how it relates to the game and how you can improve or get better. It's just a visual indicator of your own performance. The majority of people aren't going to hit Diamond, Onyx and Champion. So where's the hesitation in getting Silver in Team Snipers?

Also, no, Bungie didn't manage it well, in my opinion. Just look at Halo 3 and how they moved away from ranks by the end in a sense and came up with their 'participation' ranks front and center. Then came Reach, and even now until Destiny, Bungie hasn't been able to bring back ranks in a meaningful way and you've had some of the lost unbalanced PvP ever made with their last few games as well.

Again I'm saying, if you don't care about 'going pro', don't want to seem or be a tryhard player, then just screw around in the ranked playlist. But most people won't because they internally don't want to be judged or rated for how they play and this, like I said, is about the player themself. People are just fearful and tense because they've become conditioned to games and playlists not meaning anything. Just join, die, quit, move on. You can still do that here, but just that the only difference is you'll have an emblem to the side of the playlist.

About Bungie: They built a game that was played on the pro circuit and still had casuals enjoying the various matchmaking features. Not everything has to be balanced and super competitive. What you propose is that people change the basics of human nature (not wanting to be judged). Why even put players in that position? Are you worried that your rank will be devalued because less people are caring about arena? Essentially doing what you say people shouldn't.

I honestly don't see one negative to having a social playlist for the people that want it. Arena will still be played by those who cares. That said, if 343 simply refuses, a good compromise would be to make a playlist with parties. So solo players can enjoy arena properly.

Halo 5 really needs to take some cues from MCC. I should be able to see what maps are in each playlist and the game types they support in game.
Active Rosters should also detail what our friends are playing and who's in their party.

So what is the difference between Gold and Silver? Some people say Silver, others and Josh say Gold.

Seriously. There needs to be a social playlist... Its not just about the stigma of having your stats tracked...

I understand your point about it being ok to goof off in ranked playlist. But you really shouldn't. It's designed to be a place for people who want to win.

If I'm drunk and want to screw around, it isn't right to the people I get matched with to mess up there enjoyment, by screwing off or quitting halfway through the match.

Also, social playlists aren't just unranked playlists. They include some of the wacky modes that really have no place in ranked playlists. Currently, there is no logical playlist for Rocket Race, or Rocket Slayer, or Team Fiesta, or GrifBall or Infections. Would you put those things in team Arena? I don't think so.

I wasnt feeling the aim acceleration bug until today. Now I have my sensitivity at 10, and it still feels slow when I try to whip around. I get the feeling that most of the testing in house was done with the Elite controller...

Anyone else surprised how many awesome Arena maps there are in Halo 5? The Rig, Fathom, Truth, Plaza and especially Coliseum. A far cry from the one or two good maps in Halo 4. (Haven and ... something else?)

Artistically they don't really do much to excite me, but goddamn they play well. None of this King of the Hill map design from Halo: Reach, either. Feels good.

Yeah this, I used to play halo at high sens but in 5 it just feels strange as fuck. Hard to describe. But at the same time, ADS becomes ridiculously sensitive though, it's like they didn't even test it.

No, it's not the milder aim assist as some people claim lol.

Did you at least get carried and win?

I played with a team of friends and won 7 out of 10. I went positive for 8 of those games.

This one game we got matched against a champion 17 and 20. Needless to say, we got trashed and I went 7-20. But aside from that I did not go that bad...

Sounds like you held your own against players ranging from Diamond to Champion and won the majority of your matches. Why in the world would Onyx be a bad placement?

Nice to see some new maps in slayer. I also got a mice streak of local servers tonight. I love this game.

Got next week off of work, my gf os working and the kids are at school. I'm gonna be smashing this on the home cinema and break in the elite controller.. Nice

That's what I was thinking as well. However, my friends did better, KDA-wise and they got diamond and platinum. I did play one match without them though.

I used a rare Warzone RP Jackpot and it didn't give anything to me after finishing the game... :/ I finished 3 more Warzone games just to make sure and it still didn't work. Now it's gone D:

Also this spawn system is terrible. I'm not sure if it's because the maps aren't big enough for 4v4 or if it's because the system managed to get worse.

Yes, I am especially happy they removed Orion or whatever it was called. That map is terrible and looks unfinished.

Oh fuck yes we just won a Warzone match 1000-156. Right at the beginning we rushed to their armory and capped it then capped the Spire and our own armory and it was history after that.
