Scoripons are really weak to spartans getting up close.
There us a counter for more or less everything in the game.

Its not P2W at all if you ask me.

Oh yeah I had that problem last year. Fuck campus living lol. Your best bet is to get a router (I know that they probably don't let you, but do that shit anyway) and enjoy. Does this happen on other games like destiny perhaps?

Nope, haven't had any issues with other games. Just get kicked from a match and the XBL party I'm in.

You can buy things that affect gameplay with real money, so it's pay2win for me. That's not my biggest problem with it though. I just don't find it fun because most players don't really provide a challenge in 1v1s and the amount of random one-hit-kills is too high.

No, it's not pay to win. It's suppose to match you up with people who have similar req cards. Your team should have called in stuff to counter their vehicles and what not.
 
Servers are still broken for AU players? Good shit 343.

Oh and people 200 posts back getting upset because he quit a 1vs4? He said "those defending must be from the U.S." Because there's no way anybody experiencing this shit could logically defend this game.

I'm glad you guys like it. But I and others paid full price, I even bought an Xbox last week, just for this game. And now with these changes and the BTB maps, 344 show they really don't give af even though they say they do.

I'd love for you to play a few games on our connections. Dedicated servers, close to US players equals easy kills for US players. It's basically "host advantage" times 10. But yeah, chill, it's just a game (that I paid for with money lol why should I care right).

I don't blame him for quitting. The game should be smart enough to recognise that THREE OTHER PEOPLE quit before him. Why should he be punished for leaving a 1 v 4??
 
Welp.

Every time an new Halo game comes out I get reminded of why ever since CE, I skip the Sniper rifle unless i am aiming very long range. I am horrible with that thing.

Do you have a source for this? Not doubting you but this is the first time I've heard that, if so then that sounds a bit more fair. Although I'd still be curious about the details of how exactly it matches you with people with "similar cards"

It could be a combination of issues with your school and possibly a halo server issue. During the last few weeks of the halo 5 beta. I could not play the game at all on a college connection, while it worked fine at home. You may be facing something similar.

Has there been any actual confirmation of this? I seemingly only get matched with people who have Ghost Ultras, Wraith Ultras, and ONI Scorpions up the whazoo.
 
I might consider it P2W if you actually kept what you bought, but you can easily lose a vehicle/power weapon mere seconds after spawning in. Anyone who spends real money on this to earn some kind of a competitive advantage isn't very bright, IMO.

And on that note why can't spartins wall run? If anyone could do it I would think it would be them.
 
I never feel more vulnerable then when I spawn in a scorpion, it's like painting a big target on your head. All you need is two people to run at it from slightly different positions and you've mounted it.

This always has and always will be why this is not pay to win... You can spend a million dollars on this game and I can still destroy you with my Ar and pistol.

Their armor weighs like half a car, wall running would look stupid but I guess their jet packs could stabalize them like aiming in the air does.

Anyway after titanfall and now black ops 3 we don't need every single game with wall running, as cool as it is.

Kinda wish there was a tank with the defensive measures of a titan from Titanfall, but at the same time I think of how many games I've been in where the other team has 4 scorpions and are destroying my entire team at spawn.

I do not have a source for this. I know I've read it somewhere, but I can't find anything after looking for the last 10 minutes. Perhaps I'm wrong. Can you clarify this Stinkles? I don't want to be posting false info.

I agree we don't need a ton of games that have wall running. I'm just drunk and wondering why can't Spartans do it. They seem to be the most likely candidate to be able to. Lol
 
Wish people would stop feeling suicidal! Twice, someone jumped in front of my moving warthog and then during swat, some guy just steps in front of where I'm shooting so I end up shooting him in the head.
 
Campaign Mission 10 spoilers:

What's the name of the giant Covenant vehicle on mission 10 again? ...and what the hell kind of design is this where a towering hunkering massive structure of death like this has such an obvious and wide-open core to be destroyed? It would make *some* sense if part of the mission was to sabotage it enough that the core opens, but nope -- jump in through the wide-open spaces, throw a couple of grenades, and it's done! Why was the Arbiter approaching it with hundreds of Banshees, again??

Excited about BTB next week. Happy it came so quick!

It's worse when people quit when the match could still be won.

Also the best victories are the ones after someone dropped from your team.
