About the remasters, i wonder how they can balance that cause if it's convenient in a period where most of their resources are focused on NX.. I also think they would like to keep some remaster cards for the NX actually. Especially if the portable side is pretty powerful, thee is nothing more efficient than putting something technically not really seen on portables (like recent main zeldas, or marios). And it fills pretty well a launch line up.

I could reasonably see:

In the direct will be a trailer showcasing Star Wolf's role in Star Fox Zero. After the trailer, the Smash cross animation plays and a trailer for Wolf begins. At the end, it's announced Wolf and Sector Z are being released today, but only for eShop pre-orders for Zero, and will be for sale in two weeks for everyone else. Also for sale after the Direct is another Mii Costume wave, and Melee's Pokemon Stadium for the Wii U.

I wish Monster Hunter X could be announced in this direct, don't really mind if the game is released much later next year, but a confirmation would be extremely nice to quench the thirst for news

This will be the 1st direct without these words at the start. "Hello everyone. This is Satoru Iwata from Nintendo"

Unless Iwata, knowing he will die soon, recorded his final words to the fans to be used in a future direct after his death :´(

Also the Shovel Knight amiibo (both of them) and his DLC trailer.

It's been so long since a ND hype thread that I've almost forgotten how it's done.

I just post coolgif.gif, right?

Dawn of 1st day!

F-Zero X 3D would be an interesting way to gauge interest in a new F-Zero title. At the very least, the game could use a graphical tune-up.

I wonder if they'll show TP HD? Probably.

Normally, the longer the interval between a Nintendo Direct, the bigger the bombs are. That was especially true of the April 1st Direct. It was like 48 minutes, had tons of announcements in it. I don't want to get too hyped, since most of Nintendo is surely working on NX software, and Wii U is surely no longer their priority. But, given that it's the first Nintendo "press conference" since E3, and there is a lack of AAA games in their holiday lineup, I have to imagine something decent will be announced for release before the end of the year.

They've already gone into depth and detailed us on Mario Tennis. Mario Maker, Yoshi, TriForce Heroes, and Yokai Watch have already been released. Xenoblade X is getting regular videos and coverage from the press. They need to fill this ND with content, thus I imagine there will be some nice, pleasant surprises in there for us.

Trailer and date for Pokken seems likely. Perhaps some zoomed-in, high quality footage of Zelda? New StarFox Zero trailer. Trailer and date for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. Other than that, I've got nothin'.

I don't buy the Twilight HD rumors. That would need a tremendous amount of work to update all the textures alone.

1.- There has been plenty of evidence supporting the existence of such HD remake, mostly found through data mining.

2.- There's a huge chance that the original textures were drawn in high resolution (it's a very common practice in game development) and that they still keep them.

3.- If they don't have such HD textures, they might have applied the Wind Waker HD treatment: colourful yet simpler textures that don't take too much time to draw, combined with tons of post-processing.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
I suppose this is a first, but this Direct will be available to watch live on each European country's Nintendo YT channel. For example: UK's Direct will be viewable on NintendoUK's Youtube account, Italy's Direct on NintendoItalia account, etc. Again, it's a first, isn't it?

I just hope that "upcoming" doesn't mean they're going to spend a ton of time on games that are weeks or less away from being released. I want surprises. I want bombs. I want reveals. HYPE TRAIN, DON'T FAIL US NOW!

Doubt that Nintendo is directly working on any remasters/HD ports, Zelda for example, could be handled by Grezzo, as they look like to be the Zelda porting studio.

As for NX launch, they should do the third party way, Definitive Editions etc. Mario Maker, Smash, maybe Splatoon.
Add in cross-gen multiplayer, if possible.

Reading that F-Zero X bit of the fake leak kills me. I'm not the biggest fan, but my girlfrield will murder someone for another F-Zero game. Even a remake.

I still don't understand why they didn't just make Pokemon Stadium X.

Excited to see how TPHD looks and crossing my fingers for some sweet, sweet Smash DLC.

Actual new games or remasters?
3 seems to be a lot
Well, sony thinks remasters are new games and reggie will probably say 'its not the same game, not the same content'.

Those unnanounced games could be something like Game Boy Remix or a new Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
...this is true :/

Only after Diddy Kong from Retro is announced
Retro: *laughing intensifies*

Pokemon Z won't be New 3DS exclusive though.
Surprise Pokemon Conquest 2 is though!

I'll be so conflicted if that happens lol

Maybe they will port these over for those who didn't get the chance to play them on WiiU/3DS? A few remasters now make sense because they don't take many resources, are cheaper and faster to make compared to new games and people have been requesting them since basically D1. It's a good strategy to put out a few extra releases between X, #FE, Pokkén and Zelda to ride out the Wii U.

Wasn't the Direct supposed to come last week, on November 5, according to that "leak"? I remember reading that same list last week, and of course it is complete bs.
