What do named Vault-Tec Lunchboxes do? Just found one with the name "Stan" on it. There's a horn sound and confetti when opening it. I've found a similar one with another name earlier.
 
Awesome game so far. Love it. Runs and looks good on PS4. Needed to find my play style first because some of the new weapons sucks imo. But now with my new sawed-off shotgun I literally have a blast with the game ! Sneaking up on foes and give them a full load of it feels damn good.

Edit: Okay after playing a little more I ran into some heavy fire fights Indoor and the frame rate got some serious drops. Not as stable as I thought. Damn you Bethesda
 
Oh well.. jumped in too. My first Fallout game. I really didn't want to, since I still have to finish TW3, MGSV and Trails in the sky.. but fuck it. It was impossible to stand against the amount of threads in the last few days here.

No idea, came across 3 so far. I assumed it was some kind of trivial find-them-all achievement thing.

Edit; now that more people are playing, am I the only one bothered by Preston's shitty voice acting?

Yea I rarely notice VA quality but dang his is obvious. Like he's reading the lines as he says them or something.

Transferring all your junk to the basic work bench will automatically allow them to be used as components, I think.

You can break down weapons/armor at their respective work benches.

It doesn't feel anything remotely like Destiny, but it does feel like a roughly competent shooter, depending a little on the gun you're using. I imagine that there are some key perks/stats that make you more accurate that make it feel tigheter. I'd say it feels a bit like Bioshock with ADS.

You'll have a chance to change your SPECIAL before you leave the vault, if you're not to that point yet. Other than that, I don't know of a way to load an earlier auto-save.
 
Can anyone confirm, can I load any autosave I have? I'm not able to get on right now but I'm trying to go back like 2 hours of playing to change a build decision.

There was one exchange in particular with that guy that was terribly acted and poorly written. Threw me right out of the immersion. So annoying.

The heart is favourite isn't it? For the quick menu.

When there's a plus sign when looting, it means it's a stronger version of a weapon you already have.

1. Yeah I didn't found shops either you will find many later on.

2. You are probably right on that will see.

3. Don't worry the rest of the energy weapons don't require that. And that is the laser musket, the laser rifle is the same as Fallout 3.

4. You are right here the saves happen but the pics are wrong just look at the clock to figure out which save is which.
 
Drumlin Diner has an amazing sword called General Chao's Revenge, just sold all of the crap (guns and explosives) I've accumulated to buy it.

Edit: Also, a skull by a creatures name signifies a legendary creature, yes? If that's the case, and legendary creatures are supposed to drop special items, then I am 0 for about 7 on getting anything "special." Anybody else getting any unique drops? What's the drop rate like?
 
Absolutely in love with this game. How could i even have been slightly doubting Bethesda Game Studios? So far no bugs and no framedrops and ugly graphics? Hell no. Are these graphics up to today's standards? Not really, but at times i find them damn nice. The vault for example looks great, what an immense difference with Fallout 3, not to speak of how characters in general look. Or the animations of them. Again....they may be considered ok'ish compared to many current gen games, but this IS a huge improvement over Fallout 3 and Skyrim and for an old ass engine i find this quite impressive.

the jet addict mama whatever her name is the worst one imo.

You've already posted this like 15 posts above. If someone knows the answer, they will answer you. Anyway I presume so since it's an auto save and you can in FO3 and New Vegas.
 
Got my Pip-boy edition in.... and my steelbook case was sitting ajar and busted! Game is fine, pipboy is fine, but I'm pissed about the case. Anyone know if Beth would replace it since sending it to amazon will do no good?

Really in love with this game; the story is so much better paced and told than any Bethesda game I've played to date including Skyrim.

Really loved the animated segments.

Amazon is pretty good about taking care of stuff like this... at least they have been in the past. Reach out to them first and see what they say.
 
been to three different targets and had my friend in the burbs go to her store to find Nuka Cola and ALL of them are gone. Fuck Jones for this shit.

Amazon would at least reimburse you a portion of what you paid. They can't really replace it since the Pip-Boy Edition is sold out.

I would hope Bethesda could do something for you.
