How the fuck do you put armor on the dog? I give it to him but he just carries it.

Also is it possible for your settlers to use the armor/weapons you give them?

Whenever you give items to a follower, at the bottom where your buttons are listed there will be an equip option. On PC it is "T".

Go into the trade menu and hover over the armor you want him to equip on his side of the trade menu and hit equip (usually its Y or Triangle on the controller, look at the bottom of the trade menu to see your control)

Yep to both.

Ask them to trade with you. Give them the stuff you want them to wear, and then go to their side and equip it. I am using the xbox controller on pc. and its Y i think to make them equip it. This is relevant to EVERYTHING you can put on them. From parts, to clothes. to weapons.

Edit: On PS4

Anyone else run into a bug regarding ammo? If you load a save or sometimes in and out of power armor your weapon will show 000/000 and makes it so you can't shoot. Swapping weapons fixes the big, and if you return to the weapon that showed 000/000 ammo after you swap, all your ammo shows up again.

Also, what are you guys spending your caps on? I didn't buy anything for the longest time, but eventually bought an asston of energy cells. Doesn't seem to be much to buy aside from junk, unique armor, and ammo.

I like the new ghouls -- extremely fast and can devastate you if you don't take them seriously. Actually makes me a little afraid to run into them now hehe

Can anyone who bought the season pass on XB1 (or redeemed a code from Best Buy for it like I did) tell me if it actually downloaded anything to your console? As in, is there a Season Pass file when you go into Manage for the game? I used the code but nothing downloaded, so I'm wondering if that's what is supposed to happen or if it's an NXOE problem. When I look at the season pass on the Store, it only has Manage as an option so it recognizes that I own it, but normally it says Installed for extra content.

They're terrifying. Like the hordes from TWD.

Love it.

They seem to be following this philosophy.

Not sure I like the idea of vendors selling legendary gear. Hopefully their inventory doesn't switch about like it does with Cara or whatever her name is

Do you ever find power armour parts, I've only got one full suit :(

Idk. Bethesda has always been pretty lax about exploits people discover in their games.

Considering that the game is open for major modification why would they even care?

Can I put protect and serve robots in my settlements? Found one on the way to diamond city, it feels a bit sad leaving it aimlessly wandering around.

Just met a pack of ghouls for the first time, they seem a lot more challenging than 3 from what I can remember.
They are pretty relentless. A lot of fun tbh. I get scared if i see a big pack of them.

Totally, terrifying. Playing on Very Hard (with a weirdass build). Had no idea what to expect (haven't played a Fallout game since Tactics) and these are not Romero zombies, lol. Their AI is pretty awesome IMO, manipulable but relentless and not dumb beyond what makes sense for mindless husks of death.

I ran into my first pack
Gorski House
, I basically noped out and they followed me 200m down the road. I added a new rule to my playthrough that now whenever the Mysterious Stranger appears I must quicksave immediately afterward, no matter how dangerous the scenario I am left with. Last night that meant I was reloading a save with a ghoul in mid-jump lunging at me, and they kill me in two hits. If I do say so myself, took some rather clever maneuvering/Dogmeat assistance to get out of that one :)

Is this a bug? I was in a plant fighting raiders and then out of nowhere ghouls just appeared, like they were just dropped into the room.

Wish I could wear the individual gear over the top of the suits/coats

Also a shame you can't have a weapon equipped, and move the camera around. Wanna show off my guns innit :P

Here's a checklist I made for bobblehead/magazine locations. Location info is from a random site I found just searching for the locations.

The intent is that when you collect something, you put a 1 in the first column, which adds to the totals at the top of each section. Also with sheets like this, I like to highlight the row and change the color to bright green or whatever to show that you collected it.

I still don't even have the game yet. I don't mind spoiling this sort of thing for myself, I hate getting to the end and trying to go around to collect whatever's remaining, but even with a guide at that point I have no memory of what I have or haven't collected. I like checklists. :)

So I bought home plate and you can't even send followers there. I was planning in sending my char's wife to that place as I level up another companion, but it wasn't even an option. Nice. I mean it's 2000 caps which is a lot, but I also have high charisma so I have set up a lot of quests that will give me decent caps, and the only thing I use caps is to buy the occasional piece of clothing, material package (for crafting), and go to doctor.

But still I fail to see why I can't even send one companion to Home Plate.

So I'm doing the Freedom Trail quest and I'm...

...at the part where you have to spin the wheel to get into the Railroad. I didn't check what was written on the medallions on the way seeing as the city is full of fucking enimies so I'm stuck. Does anyone know what the password to get in is?

Any help would be appreciated.

I never knew this was possible.

You can do this to settlers as well.

You can with your gun drawn. Just hold down the change perspective button and it'll let you rotate even with the gun drawn.

Wow.. thanks for this. Gonna bookmark it for when I get back into the game after work!

For those that have done the
Human Error
quest, which choice did you make?

Killed all of these assholes. No regrets. Kidnapping and torturing people? You gone die. Simple as that. Plus my choice to kill that batshit doctor and her minions helped me out in joining the Railroad.

Railroad

Is this the one about
Covenant?
It is, yeah. I'm currently being a complete coward and not making a choice for myself because I don't want to make the "wrong" one. I'm leaning towards
freeing her
but I'm not 100% certain, although I don't care whether
she's a synth or not
.

Well, that's my decision made. I was leaning that way anyway but wasn't sure what the consequences would be elsewhere. Fuck the consequences. Thanks!
