Thinking back, it seems like the last Direct we had that wasn't E3 was almost only DLC and amiibo. I'll try to remind myself not to get hype. Splatoon, Mario Maker, Smash Bros, probably that Animal Crossing spinoff, all ripe for DLC.

Zelda probably won't be in since no NX (but would be glorious if it actually stayed Wii U and launched at a decent time next year).

The best I'm hoping for is a new Pokken character I guess, maybe a release date for that and Star Fox. TP and Minecraft would be neat if true, but idk how interested I'll really be.

The DLC content is exciting though; it will give older games new life and make titles many people enjoyed have a new reason to go back to them.

I feel that we will get the following form the show (my final guess) .
-Opens with trailer for Star Fox Zero; release date, MP mode announced, and new Amiibo Wave for the title (Fox, Falco, Peppy, Slippy, Wolf, and Transforming Arwing)
-Mario Maker DLC announced; single player pack that includes stages themed on other Nintendo IP and uses the Mystery Mushroom Skins in new ways (Ex: Link can use his sword to attack, Inking can shoot ink ala Fire Flower, ect) - priced at 20 bucks and once beaten, you can use the themes for stage creation
-Smash DLC announced; Wolf, Inkling and 3rd Party Guest (Shovel Knight or Bomberman) coming to he game. Balot Winners announced (Shantae, King K. Rool, Rythem Heaven character) and two extra characters (Pichu and Ice Climber) coming to Smash early 2016. DLC Stages (older ones from Brawl and new ones based on Star Fox Zero, Splatoon and Shovel Knight/Bomberman coming). Wolf, Inkling and 3rd Party Guest avalible after direct
-Twilight Princess HD Announced for Wii U; releases Februrary 2016 and has support for Zelda amiibo (Link, Toon Link, ect).
-Mario Tennis Ultra Smash Updates announced; five month release cycle that has a new character and court every month. Stars with Diddy Kong and new game mode releasing post launch (Dec).
-Xenoblade X trailer and news of E-Shop version coming with Xenoblade Chronicles fo free
-Trailers for Paper Jam, Amiibo Festival, Federation Force and #FE with release dates for US/EU.
-Surprise announcement for Wii U and 3DS (localization?)
-Minecraft announced for Wii U; supports amiibo and releases after direct ending
-Show ends with a new Smash Trailer; DK characters are fighting it out, then two shadow appear in a yellow background, with the Banjo theme starting to play. Banjo & Kazooie and Rash appear in Smash Bros. 4 next year.
-Nintendo announces a deal with Microsoft Studios; Rare IP can appear on Nintendo consoles going forward and it starts with Rare games coming to the VC (Banjo series, Perfect Dark, ect) and extending to promise of Nintendo skins coming to Minecraft on Xbox platforms. MK8, definitely. It's gameplay is best for pick up and play and you can casually drop anytime. Oh, it's also the GOAT kart racer, so there's that.

It could be a placeholder but that seems extremely unlikely because it was assigned a title-ID and the text literally says "Twilight Princess HD". I guess this means they will be more careful in the future.
