Not nearly as big, but there are at least two other "settlements" with NPCs, vendors, quests and stuff.
Only two? Skyrim had NINE cities and SEVEN towns.

Yeah, it feels much smaller than Skyrim to me.Only two? Skyrim had NINE cities and SEVEN towns.

So not sure if any consider this a spoiler or even how i should tag this...
I guess any who played mothership zeta in Fallout 3 read on.
So just now got a crashed ship, pretty sure its alien. But no aliens or blasters at the site. Just flaming wreckage. Is there more to Fallout 4's alien crash?
Or is this it?
Just a big nothing and a cool moment

Is there any hope that they will either remove the effect or add an option to toggle it off?

Well it was pretty much nothing in Fallout 3 as well utill they added the mother ship zeta DLC, there is an alien blaster somewhere though.
Alien Ship Crash spoilers:
If you find the crash site in fallout 4, follow the trail of blood from the ship. You will find an alien in a cave, kill him and you get the blaster and ammo for it.
This needs to be sais so here it goes. PSA. Send all Your companions to rocket gas station. It's small so it's hard to lose your companion.
It's not really comparable. I've been to like 10-12 settlements just in the top half of the map that I can build in, but you're not going to see cities like Diamond City without a reason for them, people are kind of on their own most of the time.
Different setting.
Just makes sense that there's alot more cities in a functional society.
In Fallout? Not so much. Doesnt really need many cities either. Never did. Does not mean it's a smaller game, though.
When I pick up junk, is it automatically converted into crafting resources, or do I need to go to a workbench and transfer all junk at once?
When you pick up junk, it stays as junk in your inventory. Store it in a workbench and it'll remain junk in there however when you need resources to build things, the workbench will automatically break those items down when needed.
Has anyone ever found screws in this game?
I don't want to buy that expensve shipment from that one seller in Diamond City, yet I haven't found one single screw in the wild..
I get them when I scrap guns, maybe you should take that perk next.
Screws are often inside other objects. Highlight them as an object to find in the crafting menu and it will label in world objects that include screws.Has anyone ever found screws in this game?

But even Fallout 3 had Megaton, Tenpenny Tower, Rivet City, Underworld, Little Lamplight, The Citadel, etc, scattered pretty evenly across the map. So far, FO4 has been mostly empty in the upper left.
There's a quest in Goodneighbour's Memory Den that triggers it, it's pretty cool what it leads to.Looting Hubris comics and I found thiswhat do I do with it? listening to that radio station doesn't do anything.Silver Shroud crap.

Molotovs drive me crazy in this.
Just a small question about the first mission for the Brotherhood :When you reactivate the power and Synths start coming down to the bottom of the reactor, if you press the button that creates some kind of explosion, would this also kill Paladin Danse?
quest is awesome!Silver Shroud
Did it today and thought it was great from the beginning to the end.

I mean if you're counting Tempenny, Little Lamplight and small areas like that then there are definitely more than 2 in FO4. If anything the fact that you found so many in the first night of Skyrim yet so few in Fallout is attest to the large size of it, no?

Where do you pick up the start of this?

Either find the costume in a comic store or find the guy in Goodneighbour called Kent I believe.
Does the Quartermastery quest line ever end ? I feel like i've done 1000 quests for her already and she's always wanting another item.
Not complaining though....the XP is good and it forces you to explore new places, but I feel I want it to end.
I assume there's a point where you unlock additional settlement objects, right? Like, I don't think I see stairs anywhere in the menu.
Ah, thanks! Found the costume but it never gave me the associated quest. Didn't even know it was a quest til I tried to stash it and it told me I couldn't.
I saw that spoiler slip up, zerotol!

Oh man. And I always wondered what those little magnifying glass-symbols are supposed to mean...
