Holy shit the gun you get from a brotherhood member after your first meeting is borderline OP. does everyone get the same reward?

I got a laser rifle thats super powerful and boasts crit meter

I had tons of ammo saved so I just leveled the next 3-4 hours of the game with no effort.

Yeah it's amazing.

I meant the points you get from levelling up which you can put towards SPECIAL or the perks.

I am finding the 1 point you get from leveling up to be not sufficient.

Also tried looking at mods on mexus for something like that.

I thought this does it.

player.modav [skill] [number] — Boost a skill by a numerical amount of your choosing. Eg. player.modav strength 10 will boost your strength by ten points. If there's a terminal you'd love to hack or an NPC you'd love to persuade, use this.

You add the skill you want to add points to and add a numerical value to it.

Ok during any dialogue scene my screen boxes in and there's clipping issues, everything else is fine. Any ideas?
I had this once. It seemed to happen after I alt-tabbed. I changed it to borderless windowed and it hasn't happened since.

Why would you do that, you monster?

I got a little distracted in Sanctuary...

Power: 28
Defence: 26
Settlers: 15
Food: 36
Water: 26

I even have two Brahman and a trader.

Yet I still haven't been to Diamond City and only explored around 15 places.
Is this you?

So anyone using the charisma pacify stuff yet? I've asked before, but never got a response. I have 10 in cha, but I'm not sure if I wanna invest in *any* of that unless I somehow get stupid overleveled.

Yeah it's amazing.

still my go to laser rifle, heavily modded now of course. I just got a special pistol that uses .308 ammo, aparently I hadnt used any of those guns in ages because I have over 3000 ammo for t lol. On the process now of juicing it up with the best mods, but fucking adhesive man! :(

So a Brahmin glitches onto a roof in Sanctuary...

I guess that makes him the top brah...man...

Everytime I return to sanctuary the pack brahmin is a completely new place. Yesterday it got into one of the bedrooms and was chillin on a bed.

When Raiders attack settlements, how does it happen? Do they just spawn randomly somewhere outside of the settlement or do they always come from the same direction? Or do they spawn somewhere inside the settlement zone?

It hasn't happened to me yet.

That thing is downright beastly when fully modded out. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of options I have with the plasma pistol/rifle too as I haven't hit Science! level 3 yet (which is required for most of the decent mods on those).

It hasn't happened to me yet.

Some have stated that animals can spawn within the settlement.

Yeah, I'm not sure about this settlement thing either.

Trying to make my main hub now
The Castle, PS: Fuck the Queen.
... got a TON of food, water, defences and everything ready to go to get this populated, got my recruitment going. Two people showed up. It's got happiness of ~80 at the moment.

Do people just come over time or is there something I'm missing.

Just want to get all my trade stalls, work benches and everything rocking and rolling but no one is showing up. Wish it was more clear. I'm assuming it's a time thing and I need to just go do some quests for a bit.

They try to run across the bridge on Sanctuary. But there isn't much point.

I found a combat rifle that has a clip size of 42 and does 63+ damage with a decent fire rate in a building somewhere. Sometimes the shit you find is so rewarding.

I did have to kill a bunch of raiders and one with power armor to reach it.

So I found a few legendary melee weapons that have completely changed what I do in combat. These thing hit as hard as a damn grenade. So guns are taking a backseat for now.

Also, just ran my Vita battery out remote playing this. Thanks Bethesda for not ignoring this feature.

Im trying to get the max bond achievement but i don't know if i can do that with Nick.

I'm a male character, if i can't max out with nick i think im going to go back to dogmeat.

From what i know gender doesn´t matter. I did Piper with a woman and got it.

During the first attack on my settlement I noticed a settler wearing Power Armor and thought "Huh, weird!". It was hours later when I wanted it I realized That jerk stole Mine!! Lesson learned, always take the keys out, and a replacement suit was easy enough to find.

What I'm really wondering is if my original suit is sitting empty somewhere or if the NPC functionally destroyed it.

Is there a way to connect the workbenches to all of your settlements. All of my junk is at sanctuary..gets old running back and forth to build stuff :)

To do this, go into build mode in a settlement, highlight a settler, and choose "supply line." Then assign them another settlement to travel between. This will "link" the workshop inventories of those settlements.

You can check your supply line network by looking at the map in your Pip-Boy and choosing "supply lines."

I believe the settler you assign is still considered a citizen of the settlement that you assigned them from.

Yup, always take out the power core when you park and leave it

How does armour layers work? I can wear raider leg/arm/chest pieces over the Vault 111 suit but I haven't found anything else that can be layered.

Whoa, can you actually build that much? Or does something like this require console commands? I just assumed there was a limit to how much you could build in an area.

There is a building limit (indicated by the bar in the upper right of the build mode I believe). I heard there is a mod already though that un-limits this on PC.
