Whoa, can you actually build that much? Or does something like this require console commands? I just assumed there was a limit to how much you could build in an area.

I've built two houses with two floors, a wall right around it, a gate 4 turrets, fences around my crop and brahmans, 5 generators and a bell to make all npcs meet up etc and I am not even half full on the indicator.

How does armour layers work? I can wear raider leg/arm/chest pieces over the Vault 111 suit but I haven't found anything else that can be layered.

There are only a handful of weak garments you can wear under the main armor components, such as vault suits, raider leathers, long johns, etc. There's not many to choose from.

I think clothing that has 0 'defence' can be upgraded with those pieces or modified. All the gear I've found that has some 'defence' rating can't be modified or used with that stuff.

Is there a way to get wall pieces that leave a small gap between the top of the wall and the next floor to close that gap? It seems there are only two wall types that support a floor above when snapped? That is such an ugly wall..,

Nope I have raider clothes with 4 defence then have metal pieces over that. I am level 14 and my armour is 64.

I really like the legendary effect you can get on armor that reduces game to slow-mo/bullet-time when your health drops to <= 20%, lasts for I think 10s. You even get a perk that does this I believe. Super useful when tons of ghouls come your way on survival.

I've been wanting to do something like this, but the building interfaced is too shitty for me to build something that massive. It took me like 15 minutes just to make a 4x5 wooden floor because the placement is so finicky. I also made a spiral staircase which took way too long, getting the rotation of each piece right was a nightmare.

Bethesda should have just cloned The Sims building interface, it would have been glorious.

I'm trying to make a room inside a building but I just can't... I can place the shack wall (doorway) but I can't link it with a wall to make a square room.

Made a sanctuary at the start with walls and such thinking I'd make a real home base. Haven't bothered beyond changing companions with the town since.

I like the fact you can make a base bit there's basically no incentives to keep up with it hours in beyond maybe a storage and crafting.

So I just entered the Combat Zone,
slaughtered some raiders and recruited Cait
. Do arena fights become available later?

OH MY FUCKING GOD. Next play through I am investing in stealth.

I've been sneaking more and more lately. Getting to nail a 4x damage on an enemy from afar is awesome. I might develop this some more. All of my points have been going to charm and intelligence for the most part.

Has anyone tried storing items in a settlement either laying in the open or in containers that aren't the workshop? I'd like to get real nice and organized but previous gamebryo games have been dicey about that.

6 floors building :

Well it's pretty empty at the moment... I still don't know what the fuck I'm going to do with that honestly lol
Only the last floor looks like something :

I'll build my main house here I think.

And yea... I used some black magic to make this stand.

How do you get the floors and walls to line up flush like that? I always get a small gap between the bottom wall and the upper floor?
