Does Dogmeat count as a companion?
Yeah. Though I haven't used him long enough to figure out if he even has likes and dislikes. Maybe he shows his affection level by the trick he does when you ask him to do one?

Yeah. But cool enough you can still use the lone wanderer perk with him.Does Dogmeat count as a companion?

I'm pretty sure he's maxed once you've acquired him. Could be wrong though.Yeah. Though I haven't used him long enough to figure out if he even has likes and dislikes. Maybe he shows his affection level by the trick he does when you ask him to do one?
There are some super depressing stories in the world.Legendary super mutant at----Fort Strong.
Wow therunaway girl holotap is pretty sad to listen too.
I got a question,
Will I ever get better stuff to build? What I mean is, will I get better beds to make, or cleaner metal/wooden walls to make when I eventually start to make my house?
Recently I went to Cabot's house and his interiors are so....nice. Clean walls, floors, etc. Will I ever be able to make something like that?![]()

Hard to know but the more Picket Fences magazines you get the more stuff you unlock. I did get clean beds and now I got huge statues (huge lion from the state houses).
There are magazines that have new blueprints, but nothing "clean" that I've seen so fae

He does count as a companion in some, but not all things. If you have dogmeat you can't have any other companion BUT the lone wanderer perk still applies with him as if you're.. well.. a lone wanderer. So in that sense he doesnt count as a companion.
Has anyone said that they are working on a mod that will replace the unhelpful text in the dialogue wheel with what the character actually says? From a technical standpoint it seems easier than most mods out there.
I fought a legendary alpha Deathclaw at a tower where you turn on a siren and two show up. I killed the vanilla Deathclaw and then the Legendary Alpha mutated, picked me up and knocked my head off.
One thing that really bothers me about this game is how the dialogue system hamstrings you in regard to roleplaying. In Fallout I like to play a self serving sociopath, it just feels fitting in the post apocalypse. But I found you can't really be all that bad in this game. You can certainly be nice though. I thought I'd be a snarky asshole instead, but the sarcastic lines aren't always present when I want them to be. The result is a homogenized character that doesn't have a diverse set of options. This seems like a fundamental problem that can't be solved through DLC or mods, though it could be improved upon.
Not sure how to spoil this so uh
Disappointed in the outcome of the Vault81 quest. The files on the terminal pretty clearly make the whole thing morally grey. Yeah they were using the humans as test subjects, but it's clear that with Curie's help they would have created the ultimate cure to all diseases. The overseer protected the people but doomed countless others. So obviously in the final dialogue section the only outcome is "yeah fuck those guys for trying to do that stuff." No hint of what I read.
lame
You come across some really delightful scenes when wandering around in this game.
i am almost near the end of the main story line and i feel that Fallout New Vegas is the better game. i just cant find anything in Fallout 4 that's enjoyable.

Holy shit! That's impressive! I was quite astonished in Lexington to find a skeletonin a tub with mannequins holding machetes standing in a circle around it. In the same room there was a corpse in a bed with a mannequin laying next to it. I assumed the raiders (and/or level designers!) were having a bit of fun.
So what constitutes an area being "Cleared." I mean I know it's clearing out enemies and loot but how come some areas I get it but some I don't? Can every be "Cleared"?

Can anyone tell me what quest(s) I need to do with the Railroad in order to be able to mod clothes(not armor, but long johns etc)?
Btw, the mayors secretary says that there might be jobs on some bounty board but I can't find it, anyone got an idea?
Running around in almost any regular outfit that has amazing defensive stats is totally worth the effort.
Heals them and makes them a little stronger. My first Legendary is a Radroach... surprising when it happened but really LOL worthy, to be honest. Didn't expect that...
Won a fight against a skull marked Boomer wearing Power Armor and a Legendary Raider and their friends soon afterwards though, so a Fatman, new set of Power Armor equipment, a starred weapon, all in level 7. Not bad...
Though what the hell was that Legendary Raider mutates thing... half expecting a Las Plagas bursting from his head. What does a mutation do anyways...?
Pretty sure it's the quests for Tinker Tom and P.A.M.

General Atomics Galleria is the first area to enter my memorable list. I've only been to like 19 areas all around the northern map.
I still feel that Witcher 3 is a more refined experience in a lot of ways, but this may still turn out to be my GOTY.
