59.99. expected it to be $49.99

Well it is releasing a few weeks after the PS4/PS3 release, but I'd agree on a release discount.

Keep an eye out for GMG though they may offer it for cheaper.

Now just pray this isn't another KOEI Tecmo port >_>;
FYI KOEI Tecmo are listed as developer in the steam page.

Huh, didn't remain "Playstation exclusive in 2015" after all, I was expecting 2016 at the earliest.

Not even getting close to that until I get impressions. KT hasn't been very impressive in the port front yet. Sure they're serviceable, but they need a bit more work.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Nice... Not in a hurry to play it but might get it on sale this holiday.

The rapidness of this surprise port makes me even more cautious about its' quality.

Will wait for some impressions. Not trusting KT just yet,

steam does have refunds though

Huh, that's pretty cool. Think I'll still go for with the $40 PS4 version on sale next week, though. Been wanting to play this, even if I don't know like 95% of the cast. I've got that Musou/Warriors/KT/Whatever fever!

I want this to be a really good port for a very particular reason
Replacing Alena's voice with Minsc's from Baldur's Gate

IT MAKES ALL THE SENSE IN THE WORLD!

Made my purchase! Love Dragon Quest and I want to support the franchise!

DQHeroes doesn't seem to have done too well in the west, the game is almost at bargain bin price in the UK (although that's nothing new for UK gamers).
So if you're interested, it's going pretty cheaply on PS4 right now, either way buy this game people! Fans of DQ & Musou, potentially 2 distinct audiences for this game, it should be doing better.

Is there any evidence as to how long this has been in development? That may not be a strong argument as the date it was announced doesn't necessarily reflect how long it has been in development.

A better argument would be citing the quality of past Koei ports, which have been unyielding in their continued degrees of terrible.

Well, it requires DirectX 11, so it's plausibly the PS4 version.

What was the frame rate of the PS4 version?
